It features a twin turbo 351 Cleveland running on methanol via a blow through Demon carby. We take a detailed look at what a talented bloke can do in his home garage before looking at ways to improve the setup with some modern tech.

Today on The Skid Factory it's time to Tub Al's Crown! With the impending fitment of the Harrop supercharged Chevrolet big block engine we turn our attention back to the rear end of the Crown. To get all that torque to the road we need some decent sized tyres. The 15x10" Enemies Racing wheels are wrapped in Zestino 255/60R15 Drag Radials which didn't fit in the original rear tubs so we summoned the help of Matt from Rogan Industries to do a "Split" or "Mini" tub job on the rear inner sheetmetal. Today on The Skid Factory We're at Dandy Engines with the crew from Harrop Engineering to put the New TVS2650 Supercharger Kit through its paces on the engine dyno but unfortunately there was an engine failure. Luckily Frank and the team at Dandy Engines had us covered and we managed to rebuild the engine within 8 hours of the failure!

After an Unlucky camshaft failure we're Bolted Back upto the Superflow engine Dyno with Frank Marchese at Dandy Engines and Heath from @HarropTV to see what kind of horsepower and Torque Al's 454Ci Chevy Big Block will make.

Today on The Skid Factory We're Checking out Tim's Insane Toyota FJ45 Landcruiser Ute otherwise known as The Blandcruiser!

The HAKO is Fixed with a Fresh Dry (moist) Sump system and we have oil pressure! Nelson from Hartley Engineering sent us over a 2 stage Aviad scavenge pump with a custom bracket and drive arbor that is hooked up to a custom Cast aluminum sump using a bunch of Raceworks hose and fittings.

Today on The Skid Factory Al's 454 Chevy Big Block has arrived back from Harrop Engineering. We can now fit the donk back into the car but first we must prepare the chassis for a coat of 2K Black and treat the underside of the floor with some Underbody Rust Protection from @Supercheap Auto

On this epsiode of The Skid Factory we head up to Goleby's Parts to fit and test some bolt on performance upgrades for the daily driver Crown wagon including a 3 inch Turbo back Stainless Steel exhaust system and an Aluminum Front Mount Intercooler Kit. Taking advantage of Madoc Tunings dyno in the same complex as Goleby's Parts, we test each modification as they are fitted to see the real back to back gains.

Today on The Skid Factory We're pumping out more work on Al's Supercharged Big Block MS55 Toyota Crown in preparation for getting it started. Now that the steering assembly has been finalised Al can fabricate the drives side Header which is being made from 2 inch 304 stainless steel. Next on the list was to sort out an intake pipe that isn't going to clash with the Bonnet or the radiator so the Harrop TVS2650 Snout is swapped over for a side entry item with an LS3 90mm throttle body.

Today on The Skid Factory We fire up Al's Harrop Supercharged Big Block for the first time! It's never an easy task and not everything can go to plan so be sure to use your brain and double check everything before you hit that key!

Today on The Skid Factory Mark's 1970 ZC Ford Fairlane is back in the shed for a few upgrades consisting of a 417 motorsports Water to Air intercooler and a 72/75 Turbo! The aim is not only more power via Efficiency but to also reduce some clutter within the engine bay to help with Heat Soak when the car is stationary causing the coolant temperatures to rise.

Our mates over at @supercheapautotv have asked us to build them a Billy Cart to compete in the @redbull Billly Cart Race which is being held at Landsdown Street and Treasury Gardens in Melbourne Victoria on Saturday the 3RD December We've got no idea how to build a Billy Cart but we do have a bit of an idea of how to build an engine so we decided to hit the magnifying glass to upscale a V8 and then add some BMX Wheels! We're only half way there so be sure to tune in next week to see the finished product and see Woody race this masterpiece down the Red Bull Race track!

Our mates over at @supercheapautotv have asked us to build them a Billy Cart to compete in the @redbull Billy Cart Race in Melbourne Victoria at Treasury Gardens! Have you seen part 1? https://youtu.be/goh1_IqDFE4 We've got no idea how to build a Billy Cart but we do have a bit of an idea of how to build an engine so we decided to hit the magnifying glass to upscale an engine and then add some BMX Wheels! Halfway through we realised that we were over the limit when it came to our weight restriction so we busted out the hole saw to remove some material and we managed to get it down to 79KG! Once we arrived In Melbourne we checked out some of the other carts and then it was time to RACE!

On this Episode of The Skid Factory, Al prepares the Big Block Crown for a return to the Dyno. The radiator is replaced, the lower supercharger pulley is changed from 250mm to 215mm to lower the maximum boost pressure and the fuel system is upgraded with Raceworks 1500cc injectors and a second fuel pump. We then head down to see Kye at Knight Family Motorsport to update the tune for the new boost pressure and fuel system.

In this episode of The Skid Factory we load the Big Block Crown up and head to Willowbank Raceway for its maiden run down the 1/8 mile drag strip. The Crown's Big Block Chev doesn't disappoint but getting the power to the track proves to be difficult. The Hako also makes a surprise appearance and Gav pilots it down the strip with constant improvements. Thanks to Kye from @knightfamilymotorsport keeping a watchful eye on the cars and the Haltech ecu data logging to maximise the traction down the strip.

Today on The Skid Factory We're Getting That Datsun Difference by checking out Timmy's Vq35 Turbo Powered Datsun Bluebird. Timmy has featured on the show many times helping us out with wiring and showing off his Datsun products from One Six Industries. He has a couple of cool Dattos and since we were doing some work on this one for him we thought we'd show it off before getting stuck into the job. The Current setup consists of a VQ35 bottom end from a Nissan Elgrand with Weisco Pistons and Eagle Conrods mated to VQ30 Cylinder Heads with HKS MLS Gaskets ARP L19 Head studs, VQ35 Kelford Camshafts and Valve Springs. Previously Timmy had fitted a GT35/82 (Too small) followed by an BW-S362 (A bit lazy) and it currently has a GT35/84RS (Turbine to restrictive) Timmy's always looking for more and ever-evolving the vehicle so stay tuned for next weeks episode where we'll be changing the turbo for a G40-1150
