I square up the aluminum stock, and use a trick from Pierre Beaudry to square the vise onto the mill, it works quite well! I also drill the bolting pattern for the back plate, evaporative cooling jacket plate, and the lens and LED cob housing.

Thank you very much for your help. I learned a lot about making my own lenses. Mainly, it's not easy, or simple. But I did have fun making a perfectly hemispherical cutting tool.

Thanks guys! I hope we will all enjoy the new gear. I've got a high speed 1000fps casio (it has workable resolution at 480fps) and a new main cannon HD video camera with omni directional Rode mike on the way. Cussing in STEREO!
