Chronicle review by WeWatchedAMovie. Chronicle is the newest found footage film Directed by Josh Trank and starring Michael B. Jordan, Dane Dehaan, and Alex Russell. It's NOT a horror found footage film rather more of a thriller/action/super hero/ telekenesis movie. Yeah. It centers around three friends who come across a mysterious find under the ground while at a party. They all begin to have the powers of telekenesis and part of the movie deals with them getting used to these new super powers. Johnny Blaze is hiding out when he is asked to protect a young boy and stop the devil, who is trying to become human. In return, he is promised his own previous deal with the devil will be terminated. Yay!

Apocalypto movie review. We Watched a Movie reviews the film Apocalpyto Directed by Mel Gibson. As of February 2012 is on Netflix Instant Stream. We do the first part of our movie review in subtitles just to get in the mood. We try to make you laugh with our review of this action epic. We discuss the direction of the movie industry as far as Blu Rays, DVD's, and movie theaters are concerned. Based on two stories in recent weeks. A man is suing AMC theaters for price gouging on concession stand foods and Wal Mart will start converting DVD's and Blu Rays to digital copies starting in April of this year. For a price of 2$ Wal Mart will begin accepting DVD's and Blu Rays and transferring them to digital copies to be kept in an online storage device. Is the movie industry trying to do the same thing as the music industry? We discuss the fact that movie theaters could be on their way out due to instant streaming and on demand. It's no secret movie theaters aren't selling the amount of tickets they used to, and this coupled with the fact that they may be forced to lower concession prices could be one more sign of the end of Movie Theaters. It may be in the movie distribution companies best interest to convert all movie media to digital copies and online storage because of the high cost of physical copies of DVD's and Blu Rays. Iron Man 2 is about Tony Stark dealing with all the madness around Stark Industries as well as his own life after announcing to the world that he was Iron Man. Including the Government wanting control of the suit, a new villain, and his own personal demons.

Captain America is about Steve Rogers, a litte guy with a big heart who wants to join the war effort to fight for his county. Unfortunately his whimpy body and many illnesses (think asthma) keep the Army from accepting him. Until a Super Soldier syrum is developed to make him a war fighting superhero.

The Avengers movie review. This might be the best movie ever. Of all time. Marvel has made the best comic book movie ever for sure. Reviews the 2012 Superhero action film "The Avengers". Directed by Joss Whedon (Firefly) and starring Robert Downey Jr,Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johannsen, Tom Hiddleston, and Samuel L. Jackson. Also known as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Loki, and Agent Fury. Whew. This movie is an action packed, special effects 3-D extravaganza that is packed to the brim with comic book fun. When Thor's brother Loki finds his way to earth in hopes to rule over the humans, he brings more power than the Shield Agency can handle alone. So Agent Fury calls together The Avengers to save the world.

"Dark Shadows"(2012) is the latest goth fantasy Directed by Tim Burton (Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands) and stars as usual Johnny Depp. The cast also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jackie Earle Haley, and Eva Green. The story is about Barnabus Collins who is cursed by a scorn lover to be a vampire and spend eternity alone. He then returns many years later to a different world and attempts to protect his wayward descendants and restore the Collins name.

Thats my boy movie review by We Watched a Movie. "That's my boy" is the latest Happy Madison Production starring Adam Sandler and we let you know if it's atleast better than Jack and Jill. "Thats my boy" is Directed by Sean Anders (Sex Drive) and written by David Caspe (Happy Endings). It stars Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, and Nick Swardsen as well as quite a few cameos and small roles. Thats my boy is about Donny (Sandler) Fathering a son in his own trailer trash way until the boy Han Solo (Samberg) is 18, when he leaves Donny and never looks back on his way to starting a normal life despite what he has been through. Donny ends up in money troubles when he finds out his now wealthy son will be getting married, and decides to enter Han Solo's life again much to his son's dismay. Shenanigans ensue.

Rock of Ages movie review. Directed by Adam Shankman and starring Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta Jones, Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, and Diego Boneta. Sigh. "Rock of Ages" takes the 80's rock music we all know and love and makes a musical of it, focusing around young lovers and aspiring singers. Sounds terrible when I say it like that doesn't it? However it does include the rock god Stacey Jaxx and his mess of a life.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been victimized by the horrible event. It is a really sad thing to have a place so special to all of us be the grounds for such an unspeakable event. My heart breaks for the people who were killed and hurt in the shooting when all they wanted to do was escape from reality for a bit and watch a movie. I can't begin to know what those families are feeling right now and our hearts truly goes out to all of them.

In the year of 2072 when the bad guys want someone dead they send them back in time to Loopers like Joe who kills them and disposes of the body that now doesn't even exist. Taken 2 review. Because if any movie needs a sequel.... it's Taken. Or not. Seriously how many times can people be taken before you stop taking trips over seas? Anyways this unneccesary chunk of action sequel badness is Directed by Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3, Columbiana) who says he doesnt really like action sequels. Did I mention he directed Transporter 3? Liam Neeson is a badass as usual returning to his role from "Taken" and Famke Janssen is hot as ever as his ex wife. Their daughter played by Maggie Grace returns too. Even writers Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen returned from Taken! Theres a chance! No theres not! So retired CIA operative and permanent badass Bryan Mills goes on a business trip to Istanbul. His ex-wife who is having trouble with her 2nd husband takes their daughter and surprises him in Istanbul. Then that dude whos sons Liam Neeson killed in Taken is really pissed off and "takes" Bryan and his wife to get revenge. He doesnt kill them right away however because that would be too easy and instead goes on a search for Bryan's daughter. "Taken 2" lol. Seriously we hoped this would be better. We really did.
