Rock of Ages movie review. Directed by Adam Shankman and starring Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta Jones, Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, and Diego Boneta. Sigh. "Rock of Ages" takes the 80's rock music we all know and love and makes a musical of it, focusing around young lovers and aspiring singers. Sounds terrible when I say it like that doesn't it? However it does include the rock god Stacey Jaxx and his mess of a life.
