Han Eun-sung is an interpreter for French. However, she is not too happy with her job and complains to her best friend, Kim Rae-wan. On the other hand, Rae-wan, a painter, is going through a rough patch in his own work as well. Due to her broken water pipe, Eun-sung temporarily moves into Rae-wan’s place. Although they both act casually around each other as long-time friends, they both feel a bit awkward because of what happened two months ago.

While drinking, they talk about the time when Rae-wan had to clean Eun-sung's poop in the toilet after she got drunk and left it there. She asks him if he felt anything while taking care of her mess, but Rae-wan responds rather indifferently, saying that it's just poop. Eun-sung is hurt to see that he doesn't see her as a woman.

Although Rae-wan tries to deny it, he cannot help but have feelings for Eun-sung whenever he looks at her. Meanwhile, Rae-wan’s friend, Hee-nam, comes over to their place for dinner. Rae-wan is annoyed by how warmly Eun-sung treats his friend. Before leaving, Hee-nam tells Eun-sung that he is curious about her.

She mentions his messy fridge, claiming that the fridge is exactly like his heart. In order for him to get over what happened between them, she tells him that he should empty out the fridge. Rae-wan tells her that the reason why his slump came was because of her and tells her to mind her own business.
