Welcome to Seincast, where we discuss everything and nothing about Seinfeld. In this intro episode, we talk a little bit about ourselves, why we love Seinfeld, and how this podcast got started.

Seinfeld premiered on July 5, 1989, and here we are, 25 years later, to discuss the pilot episode, "The Seinfeld Chronicles". In addition, we will cover the early days of Jerry meeting with NBC, teaming up with co-creator Larry David, casting Jason Alexander and Michael Richards as George and Kramer respectively, and how audiences first reacted to the show.

We're discussing the second episode of Seinfeld's first season, "Male Unbonding". Although it originally aired fourth, the episode was second to be written and filmed...plus, it shows up second on our DVDs, so there you go! In addition, we're covering Julia Louis-Dreyfus' addition to the cast as Elaine, Larry David wanting to quit the show (already?), and host Matt's recent visit to Seinfeld Day at a Brooklyn Cyclones game.

"No! No! YOU had wooden teeth! YOU had wooden teeth! I didn't have wooden teeth, you did!" We're discussing the third episode of Seinfeld's first season, "The Stake Out". Although it originally aired second, the episode was third to be written and filmed...plus it shows up third on our DVDs, so deal with it! In addition, we're talking about how the show and characters really start to click, whether drama has a place in sitcoms, and which porn to give to the Seinfeld fan in your life.

Turn off "The Bold and the Beautiful" and stop waiting for the shower to heat up because we're discussing the fourth episode of season one, "The Robbery".

"Wilkenson's got a bite on a new one. The Tramco Corporation. Out of...Springfield, I think. They're about to introduce some sort of a robot butcher." Call off the grape search and roll out your favorite tie because we're discussing the fifth and final episode of the first season, "The Stock Tip"!

"You should just do it like a Band-Aid. One motion...right off!" Don't swallow a fly when you see the runtime for our discussion of the first episode from season two, "The Ex-Girlfriend"!

"She doesn't deserve a baby shower. She deserves a baby monsoon. She deserves Rosemary's baby!" Cancel your illegal cable appointment and pour a little Bosco on your shirt because we're discussing the fourth episode of season two, "The Baby Shower"!

"Master of the house, doling out the charm...ready with a handshake and an open palm..." When you're done in the bat'room, pour your favorite drink with lots of ice...you're gonna need it as we discuss the fifth episode of the second season, "The Jacket"!

"Seinfeld...four!" We've got oh, five...ten...make that over 100 minutes discussing (in *excruciating* detail) the sixth episode of season two, "The Chinese Restaurant"!

"I can't drink coffee late at night. It keeps me up." Put on your favorite pair of Dockers and spread out under the lemon tree because we've got a lot to cover in our discussion of the seventh episode from season two, "The Phone Message"! We're also covering the lost Seinfeld episode, which you might have heard about before: "The Bet". What was the episode about? Why was it scrapped after the read-through? How exactly do you solve a problem like Maria? All of these questions shall be answered! Except for the last one.

"Maybe the dingo ate your baby." We're talking nothing but legumes this week! Now, before you call us out on our mistakes (trust us, there's a lot of them), the episode under discussion was produced early in 1991, but got shelved until season three. We still consider it part of the season two family, so let's open our hearts and welcome back the ninth episode, "The Stranded"!

"Just keep making love to that wall, pervert." Not only are we talking about the tenth episode from season two, "The Statue", but also debating whether "Mulaney" is worth your time, what constitutes a big coincidence, and whether Ray looks like Ted Mosby or porn star James Deen (or neither). Maybe a round of Inka-dink would have been simpler.

"I told him I didn't take his Chuckle! I don't eat that gooey crap!" First things first: stop using hot water, get off dairy, and, we can't stress this enough...make sure you were born in August. Once that's taken care of, stretch out on your favorite floor pillows and prepare for some serious healing with our discussion of the eleventh episode from season two, "The Heart Attack."

"I like sports. I could do something in sports." Infidelity. Suicide. Property damage. Drugs. Revenge. It's a barrel of laughs this week with our discussion of the twelfth episode from season two, "The Revenge"!

"Boy, I really liked the two of you much better when you weren't a couple." We're talking a little this, that, and the other with our discussion of the thirteenth and final episode from season two, "The Deal"!

"A man gave me...a massage." It's the start of a new season on Seincast with our discussion of the first episode from season three, "The Note!" And like the show trying out a new opening theme (heeeeeey), we tried new recording software and our voices sound terrible. Apologies for the audio quality this time, we'll be back to normal next week.

"If everyone who was pretentious was in a mental institution...obviously THIS isn't a mental institution." You want the truth?! Well, here it is! We're discussing the second episode of season three, "The Truth", and along the way hopefully pick up on some things you hadn't noticed before. So fix up some yambalas and sambusa, and prepare for the podcast equivalent of a complete rectal examination.

"Two hundred seats on a plane, I gotta wind up next to Yukon Jack and his dog Cujo." Prediction...two guys who contribute nothing to society and just take up space will be discussing the third episode of season three, "The Dog!" Come on down...

"Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid sitting down, opening a book right now in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers?" Cantstandya not joining us while we discuss the fourth episode from season three, "The Library!" This show must be listened to immediately. No exceptions. Got that, kewpie doll?

"All I said was, 'I like the pen!'" Say 'astronaut' and join us for our discussion of the fifth episode from season three, "The Pen!" Over 90 minutes? Well, the trivia portion always go by fast. We're in the Seinfeld's condo most of the episode. It's like two scenes really. It's like a cup of coffee. It'll go by like *that*!

On a very special episode of Seincast, Vinnie and Matt speak with Peter Mehlman about his hilarious new book "It Won't Always Be This Great," how he got started writing, and his experience working on 'Seinfeld'.
