New series of the popular travel show featuring holiday destinations with direct flights from island of Ireland. This week Joe Lindsay and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin report from La Plagne in the French Alps. Aoibhinn tries skiing for the very first time and Joe's giving snowboarding a go. Highlights include a visit to an igloo village, snowshoeing and a hair-raising ride on an Olympic bobsleigh run. Joe also takes a short getaway to Limerick, Irish City of Culture 2014, where he visits the new interactive exhibition in King John's Castle, calls into Thomond Park Stadium, home of the Munster rugby squad, and recalls the glamour of flying in a bygone age at the Foynes Flying Boat Museum

Boston on America's eastern seaboard has lots on offer for a great getaway - it's famous for its history, Ivy League universities, top-notch museums and first-class seafood. Highlights for Joe and Aoibhinn include following the Freedom Trail through the city to take in the key sights, visiting a museum dedicated to an iconic Irish-American - John F Kennedy, boarding the Boston Tea Party Ship and an excursion to Boston's weekend playground, Cape Cod. Aoibhinn also takes a short getaway to the Glens of Antrim, where she visits Glenariff Forest Park, Glenarm Castle, Carnfunnock Country Park and the National Trust village of Cushendun

Joe Lindsay and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin are based in Salou on the Spanish Costa Dorada. Salou is famous as a package holiday beach resort but Joe and Aoibhinn discover that there is a lot more to the area than just sun, sea and sand. They visit the fishing port of Cambrils, the historic town of Tarragona, and journey into the nearby mountains, where they find tranquil villages and stunning scenery. In this episode's short getaway, Joe is in County Wexford, where he visits a newly opened historic country house and explores the Irish National Heritage Park.

Joe Lindsay and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin set up camp in the Dordogne in France. As well as camping, they explore medieval villages, farmers' markets, chateaux and the area's famous caves. Other highlights include a truffle hunting expedition, a visit to a forest full of Barbary apes and a trip back in time to a 1900s theme park. Joe also takes a short getaway to County Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula where he visits the Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre, takes a stroll along Inch Strand, the beach famous as a film location, and pops into the tourist town of Dingle
