Presented by Tommy Bowe and Vogue Williams. The new series kicks off in the USA in the city of Seattle. Tommy gets his bearings from the top of the iconic Space Needle, before taking to the skies on a seaplane for the very best view of the city. The Chihuly Garden with its glass sculptures captures Vogue's imagination, as does MoPOP, the very cool Museum of Popular Culture. The duo head out to sea on a whale-watching trip, grab a coffee at the original Starbucks store, throw fish at Pike Place Market and visit the city's stickiest attraction, the Gum Wall. In this week's short Getaway, Joe Lindsay visits Dungarvan's farmers' market with local chef Paul Flynn, and takes in the majestic Mahon Falls with its magic road en route.

This week, Joe and Sinead head to the Bulgarian mountains to test one of the best value winter holidays. They kick off in Pamporovo, an ideal ski resort for beginners, where they try snowboarding, a husky ride and a thrilling ski-doo safari. They take an excursion to nearby Plovdiv (European City of Culture 2019) to check out the Old Town and its exceptionally well-preserved Ancient Theatre. They travel onto the bigger and busier ski resort of Borovets, and from there journey into Bulgaria's capital, Sofia, to take a tour of its historical city centre. In this week's short Getaway, Mairead Ronan's in County Wicklow to explore Russborough House, fondly known as 'Ireland's longest, most beautiful and most robbed house!'.

Mairead Ronan and Joe Lindsay explore some of the most popular resorts along Turkey's turquoise coast, including Oludeniz, Marmaris and Bodrum. They check out the best beaches, explore the historical sites, sample the flavours of the region and get out on the water to take in the beautiful coastline. And Tommy Bowe discovers some of Armagh's best-kept secrets on this week's short Getaway.

Mairead Ronan and Tommy Bowe are checking out a city break in Porto, Portugal's second largest city. They cruise on the River Douro, visit a magical bookshop, sample its famous port and explore its historic heritage. And on this week's short Getaway, Joe Lindsay is inspired in Heaney Country.

This week, Tommy Bowe and Mairead Ronan explore the year-round sunshine island of Lanzarote. They discover its volcanic history, reveal its beautiful beaches and get inspired by artist and environmentalist Cesar Manrique. And back home, Joe Lindsay takes a short Getaway on Achill Island off the west coast.

With over seven million residents and more skyscrapers than any other city in the world, it’s a dazzling mix of east and west, new and ancient. There are designer shops, Chinese medical practitioners, Buddhist temples and some of the best food you’ll ever taste. Joe and Vogue try the city’s street food, make a pilgrimage to the Big Buddha on Lantau Island and journey through the stilted fishing village of Tai O.
