This video is a brief history of deaths in Yellowstone national park, Every year, four million visitors visit the park to see unspoiled scenery, incredible wildlife, and to get up close to boiling geysers and hot. However, It turns out that Yellowstone is one of the more dangerous national parks for unwary and naive travelers and one of the biggest killers to date is their hotsprings. The park is located on a massive super volcano with a massive lava reservoir that could devastate the entire continent if it erupted. Over 10,000 hydrothermals and half of the world's geysers are found in the park and according to experts, if you were to swim in one, it would be the equivalent of swimming in battery acid. There have been 22 deaths on record.

This is the story of the cannibal family from Kurim. Ondrej, 8, and Jakub, 9, were subjected to a barrage of abuse by the their own family. The two boys were placed in a basement cage and kept there for a year. They were stripped naked and given no blankets or soft surfaces to sleep on for the entire year. They were tormented, beaten, sexually assaulted and starved. The boys were also burned with cigarettes, electrocuted, scratched with forks and whipped. The boys were forced to use a knive to cut themselves. When they weren’t in their cage, they would be handcuffed to the table and forced to stand for days.

This is the story of the Top Storey club fire of May 1961. The club was quiet on the night of the fire because it was a Monday. In the club, there were about 20 and 25 people. Bill Bohannon, the manager, smelled smoke about 11 p.m., less than half an hour after the owner's arrival. Bill went down to the groundfloor to investigate and found the furniture store to be on fire. The fire prevented him from going back upstairs and he managed to escape. He called for the doorman to ring the fire brigade, which he did and they arrived within 3 minutes but it was already to late. The fire spread up the single stairway which meant the people on the top floor were unable to escape. When the clubbers realised they were in danger some began to jump from the windows. The building was eight stories up wit nothing but concrete to meet them at the bottom.

On the 17th of August 1896 Bridget Driscoll of Croydon, Surrey, was out for a delightful afternoon stroll with her daughter, May, and her friend Elizabeth in Crystal Palace Park in London before attending a church party. According to an edition of the Norwood News published on August 22, 1896, three of the German-manufactured, French-assembled cars were being demonstrated at the Dolphin Terrace that day. When she was crossing Dolphin Terrace on the grounds of the park, she was hit by a car belonging to the Anglo-French Motor Carriage Company, which was giving demonstration rides.

On April the 5th 1998 Ivan McGuire boarded the small plane with his video camera, unaware that this would be his final flight. As they were plummeting towards the ground Ivan was filming them the instructor and student calmly. As they all went to pull their parachute, Ivan reached for his parachute only to realise he'd forgotten to put one on. You can only imagine the panic he went through in them final moments as he plummeted to his death at 150mph.

Maureen Leianuhea "Anu" Kelly (born September 26, 1993) is a missing American woman who was last seen on June 9, 2013 at the Canyon Creek Campground in Skamania County, Washington. Kelly claimed she was going on a "spiritual quest" and then removed her clothing and proceeded into the woods wearing only a bag, according to a group of friends who were at the campground with her. No one has ever seen her since.

Judy Melinkek works as a forensic pathologist for Alameda county sheffif coroner office. Forensic pathology. focuses on analysing a corpse to determine the cause of death. These are some of the most insane deaths she has seen over her career. These include a hipster who was struck by lightning while attending a rooftop party in Chinatown, his body unharmed but his shoes blasted away. A Cable man falling to his death and the horrific story of Sean Doyle who was thrown into a manhole cover.

Dr. Thomas Pritchard served on the faculty of Penn State's College of Medicine's neurological and behavioural sciences department for more than 30 years. Pritchard was a seasoned diver who had fallen in love with diving after taking it up later in life. Tom pursued more demanding goals as he progressed from recreational to technical diving, traversing the Eastern Seaboard and eventually visiting the Andrea Doria multiple times.

Cave Diving gone wrong - true horror story. This is a story about the outcome of a diver who went beyond his training and experience which lead to tragic, deadly consequences. Dillon also loved diving. For Christmas 2013, Darren had gotten Dillon new gas tanks, and the pair couldn’t wait to try them out. That same day, the pair headed to Burford Spring but it was flooded so they went over to Eagle Nest, a particularly dangerous undersea cave system in northwestern Hernando County in Florida. Eagle's Nest is a technically challenging and risky cave dive. Only highly skilled and certified experts should consider or attempt it. It's easy to become lost, and there's no "safe zone" where you can regain your bearings. Since 1981, up to 20 people have died in the Eagle's Nest cave system. Spivey was a certified diver, but he didn't have a cave diving qualification. He should have never attempted the dive, let alone with his unexperienced son.

The man who decapitated himself: Mr. Phyall, who had a history of mental illness, epilepsy, and mobility issues, had rented his apartment on Bodmin Road in Eastleigh, from Atlantic Housing for a number of years when he was asked to vacate his property. Mr Phyall spent two years trying to stay in his ground level property despite first declaring he supported Atlantic Housing's intentions to bulldoze the decrepit development.

Woman found dead in elevator: After Chinese New Year had passed, repairmen returned to work and discovered the body of Wu who had been stuck in the life since late January. She had starved to death. No one heard Wu screaming for 30 days, when they found body her hand was placed against the elevator door. Both of her hands were mangled, in attempts to pry the door open. There were also scratches all over the walls.

The disaster on Mount Eiger is one of mountaineering’s most infamous tragedy’s. Mount Eiger stands at 3967 meters tall and is located in the Bernese Alps of Switzlerland overlooking Grindelwald. At the time, the north face of the mountain had never been climbed from bottom to top, and in 1936 a ten-man team who were backed by the nazi party, believed they had what it took to be the first to do so, they were wrong. The north face of Mountain was notoriously treacherous, with many people dying in the past trying to be the first to reach the summit.

Mount Hood is located in Oregon and is the fourth highest peak in the cascade range. The 1986 Mount Hood Disaster occurred in May 1986, when seven students and two staff members from Oregon Episcopal School perished while on a Mount Hood vacation. The children were taking part in a school-mandated adventure programme for sophomores. The incident is the second-deadliest alpine disaster in North American history, behind an avalanche that killed eleven people on Mount Rainier in 1981.

Cases of Death at Disneyland: The first death that happened at Disneyland occurred on in May 1964 when Mark Maples, a fifteen-year-old Long Beach, California resident, attempted to stand up whilst riding the Matterhorn Bobsleds. As their bobsled approached the mountain's top, Mark unbuckled his seatbelt and attempted to stand up. Maples lost his balance and was flung from the sled to the track below, breaking his skull and ribs which caused internal injury. Mark survived the initial fall but died three days later in hospital. Sadly, some people did not learn from Marks infamous death.

On Sunday the 6th of April 1969, a group of friends headed down to Mount Gambier to do some Pleasure diving after a late-night party. At 11 a.m., the ten-person group, which included three scuba divers, four snorkelers, and three non-diving buddies, arrived at the Kilsby sink hole. In the group were Bret and Patrick, who along with their friends George and Kerry had dived in the sink hole the day before and managed to go 55 meters deep before having to resurface.

This is the infamous death cave triple fatality of 1972. It was Monday the 9th of October, 1972 and the group were traveling back from a diving weekend when they decided to take a quick look at the sink hole which was rumoured to be 20M deep. The four divers entered the water with full tanks, but they left their normal safety guideline in the car. They did this as they didn’t intend to travel far and didn’t believe there were any large underwater expansions heading off from the main entry chamber.

Port Noarlungas scuba diving horror disaster. On Sunday, August 13th, 1961, Port Noarlunga Reef took the life of its first scuba victim. Maxwell had gone to the reef to test out his new wetsuit and perform some scuba spearfishing. After failing to return to his son, his son grew worried and contacted the life savers who found that he wasn't connected to the buoy he tied himself too. What happened to Maxwell?

In late December 2016, 71 year old Bernard Gore, a retired barber from Tasmania, was visiting his daughter in Sydney with his wife of 50 years Angela for what Should have been a lovely few weeks away spending quality time with family and friends but the dream vacation soon turned into a nightmare as Bernard suddenly disappeared inside one of the busiest shopping malls in Australia known as Westfield Bondi Junction. Westfield Bondi Junction is a big, affluent shopping area located in the Bondi Junction suburb of Sydney and is one of Australia’s most popular malls. Bondi Junction is huge and has 7 floors of shops, restaurants, bars and more. He wasn’t found until three weeks later.

On the fourth of January 2020, Simon Halliday had travelled to the diving location known as Lancaster Hole with two buddies. This is a dive Simon had done before and he wanted it to be a solo dive which according to him would take no longer than three hours. Four hours passed and Simon never showed up. They contacted Cumbria police and a cave rescue organisation was contacted. Up to 40 members and divers from the Cave Diving Group were claimed to have responded at the time to help in the search for Simon. The search was on, but it didn’t take them long to sadly find their missing friend. Hallidays body was found 14 minutes and 60 meters into the underwater passage.

South Australia’s first diving fatality occurred on Friday the 28th of December 1951 at Port Noarlunga when two brothers, Pat and John, along with their friend Arnold decided to go spearfishing in the reef. Arnold received a strong pull on the rope and hauled it to help John resurface. John then appeared, and Arnold reached down to help his friend out of the water. Suddenly, John jerked back and fell back into the water. Arnold was taken aback by this and assumed he had dropped his speargun and gone down to retrieve it. As the minutes passed, he became increasingly concerned, but he resisted the urge to leap into the turbulent water, fearful of colliding with John or his speargun.

This is a documentary about the weird disappearance of Kenny Veach and M cave. Kenny was a 47 year old Nevada resident who had been an avid hiker for over 20 years. After talking about a cave he found (M cave) he was urged to re-locate it. He packed his bag for an overnight trip, and left for the Mojave Desert on the 10th of November 2014. Kenny was never seen again. After he failed to return home, his girlfriend and family reported him missing to the Las vegas police and the search began. Veach's whereabouts were traced back to a location shown in his M cave hike video. They then discovered his phone on November 22 near an old mine shaft he had previously visited. The police sent a camera down the mine shaft in hopes they would find him, but they were unsuccessful.

A long day at Disneyland for Brandon Zucker and his family was coming to an end when the happy attendees decided they would go on one last ride to round off the day. The ride they decided on was the Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin which debuted 6 years earlier in January of 1994. The ride is based on the Academy award winning hit film “Who framed Roger Rabbit” and was a fan favourite in the park at the time.

The very first Halloween Horror Nights event, held in 1986, was the very first Halloween Horror Nights event ever held. Universal Studios Hollywood hosted the event.The Terror Tram, a nighttime version of the Backlot Tour with scareactors hiding in the shadows ready to jump out and harm passengers, would be the headline attraction.

Neysi Perez was buried alive. One night in August after being awakened during the night to use the bathroom outside, Neysi collapsed. After she was buried. Neysis heartbroken grieving husband visited her grave to pay their respects. Whilst at the greave grave he began hearing noises, coming from below. They were noises of banging and screaming. The family began breaking through the concrete tomb.

The Mossdale Caverns Disaster is the deadliest caving disaster in British History. On June 24th 1967, 10 cavers entered Mossdale Caverns, 6 of them died. Rainfall had completely submerged the entrance to the cavern which meant the 6 remaining in the cave all drowned to death.

On the Suwannee River, near Bran in Florida lies Little River Springs, a 125 acre county park with crystal clear waters. Little River Springs is a perfect spot for swimming, snorkelling and cave diving. The reason it entices so many cave divers is the vast cave system within the spring which is more than 1200 feet long.

ICON Park opened on the 4th of May 2015, in the heart of Orlando Florida to much excitement from the public. Tyre Sampson visited ICON Park to go on the rides. One of these rides known as the Orlando freefall was billed as the world’s tallest drop ride and infamously rose to fame in early 2022 after a horrific incident sent shockwaves not only around Orlando, but over the world as 14-year-old Tyre Sampson was flung from the ride to his death.

The Korovina incident aka Khamar Daban Disaster occurred on August the 5th 1993. Today it is often referred as the second dylatov pass incident and with only one person living to tell the tale its easy to see why. 7 Hikers entered the mountains with six of them dying.

In South Australia, close to Mount Gambier, is the Piccaninnie Ponds Conservation Park. The spring system at Piccaninnie Ponds is very popular within the cave diving community due to the vast number of small caves and ponds. There are two sides divers can tackle the system, The Piccaninnie Ponds are however notorious for accidents that claimed the lives of several divers over a 12 year span. Today I will be covering each incident from 1972 to 1984. These are the stories of the Piccaninnie Pond Cave diving disasters.

Evha Jannath was on a trip to Drayton Manor. She was riding the Splash Canyon river rapids ride at the theme park when she was "propelled" into the water. Evha, who was couldn't swim, fell from a boat at the park when it collided with a wall. She then drowned. Although a jury inquest in 2019 concluded she died accidentally, the tragic and avoidable incident sent shockwaves around the United Kingdom but also unravelled and exposed a series of mistakes and systematic failings that could have prevented the young girls demise. This is the infamous story of Evha Jannath and the Splash canyon disaster.

In May of 2021, in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, disaster struck the beautiful lakeside town of Stresa as their tourism-dependant economy was on the upswing. The tragedy which left 14 people dead was Italy’s worst cable car disaster for over 20 years and left the community of Stresa broken and questioning what went wrong. What the investigators found not only shocked and angered the community of Stresa, but the whole of Europe. This is the horrific story of the Stresa Mottarone cable car disaster

In July of 1967, 12 young strangers set off on an adventure of a lifetime to climb North Americas largest mountain, mount Denali. What started off as a dream climb for the Wilcox expedition soon turned into an arctic nightmare which saw seven of the men lose their lives in on of Americas deadliest ever mountaineering tragedy. This is the infamous story of the Mount Denali disaster.

In February of 2011, Jerry William McDonald went up into the mountains of Oregon to do some camping. A few months later he was found by service rangers dead in the back of his truck. Jerry had become trapped in the mountains and documented his final days. Jerry survived for 68 days in the mountains of West Lin before dying of starvation and hypothermia.

In the quiet city of Abbeville located in Louisiana, a near 3 decade old mystery finally came to an end in May of 2011 when the body of a man (Joseph Schexnider) that had been missing for 27 years was found in the chimney of a small town bank. However, although they had solved where he was, the way he was found brought up more questions than answers. Questions that are still unanswered to this day. This is the mysterious death of Joseph Schexnider.

In April of 2004, teenager Hayley Williams, along with her friends and family were visiting Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire when disaster struck. When riding the start attraction known as Hydro, Hayley was thrown from the top of the ride and plummeted into the waters below. After the incident, an investigation found significant systematic failures in training and supervision of staff that could have prevented Hayley’s tragic demise. This is the Infamous story of the Hydro Disaster.

In September of 2021 ,Wongel Estifanos was visiting the Glenwood Caverns amusement park located in Colorado when when her life was cut short in a tragic disaster whilst riding the Haunted Mine Drop Roller Coaster. The incident sent shockwaves through Colorado leaving her family, and the general public questioning how could this possibly happen? Shock would soon turn to anger as the investigation shone light on what was described as Multiple operator errors and ignored warning. This is the infamous story of the Haunted Mine Drop Disaster.

In August of 1999, Joshua Smurphat, his mother and his friends went to the Paramount Great America amusement park in Santa Clara California, for a day of excitement and thrills. Unfortunately, Joshua would never return home. Whilst riding his favourite ride, the Drop Zone Stunt Tower, disaster struck as he was ejected and sent plummeting to the ground. This is the infamous story of the Drop Zone Stunt Tower Disaster. The incident rose to infamous status after the death of Tyre Sampson.

Action Park is perhaps the most infamous amusement park of all time. George Larsson Jr was the first to die at Action Park. Their rides were poorly designed, their safety record was shocking and their juvenile staff were under paid and under trained. It was estimated that up to 100 people per summer would leave the park seriously injured with people often joking “I managed to survive action park”. Unfortunately however, some weren’t as lucky. The parks poorly designed rides are documented to have caused the deaths of at least six people whilst the park was open. This video will focus on the death of George Larson Jr. George was the first recorded death in the park and perhaps the most infamous. This is the infamous story of the Alpine Slide Disaster.

In October of 2019 Deerfield Townships annual Harvest festival ended in tragedy when Hailey McMullen was thrown from one of the rides known as the "xtreme” sizzler. The incident sent shockwaves through the small town and people were left wondering how such an incident could have possibly happened? The investigation into the disaster continues to haunt the girls family as they are still fighting for justice with lawsuits currently ongoing. This is the Infamous Xtreme Sizzler ride disaster.

In early july of 2010, a day out at Dixie Landin Theme Park in Baton Rouge for Lindsay Zeno and her friends ended in disaster as a woman was thrown off a roller coaster and was sent plummeting to the ground below. In the months that followed, officials spent countless hours investigating the tragic incident. What happened to Lindsay, and how did she manage to slip out of the ride? This is the story of the xtreme Roller Coaster Disaster.

In July of 2000 a day trip to Blackpool pleasure beach with friends turned into a gruesome nightmare for Christopher Sherratt as he managed to slip out of his car half way through riding one of the parks most popular attractions, the Space Invader. To add to the horror, the ride in question was submerged in darkness which made it near impossible to tell exactly what was going on. This is the infamous story of the Space Invader Disaster.

In April of 2019 the bustling neighbourhood of South Lake Union in Seattle was struck by a disaster when a crane fell collapsed destroying everything in its path. In the blink of an eye a normal afternoon turned into chaos that would only be resolved this year. Sadness and grief soon turned into anger after the investigation found the tragedy was “totally avoidable”. This is the Seattle crane collapse disaster.

As an article from Mental Floss states “The rides at Coney Island aren't the tallest or fastest in the world, but they have a way of reminding riders of their mortality.” This is for very good reason. Coney islands Luna park is home to one of the most Infamous roller coasters to have ever existed, the cyclone. The wheels creek, the wood vibrates and it has even been classed as the most dangerous roller coaster in America. The cyclone has been responsible for taking three lives, today we will be looking into each case. These are the infamous Cyclone roller coaster disasters.

On June the 14th, 1986 Disaster struck at Galaxy Land l in West Edmonton when a man named Rod Chayko was flung from the new ride known as the Mind bender. Little did he know, as he lay in pain on the floor, confused as to what just happened, he was the lucky one. What happened that day would go down in history as one of Canada's worst roller coaster disasters. So how did the quote on quote “the worlds safest roller coaster” lead to the death of three people? This is the infamous story of the Mind-bender roller coaster disaster.

On the 6th of July, 1944 Barbour Street in Hartford was the place to be as thousands of eager and excited fans made their way to Connecticut for the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. The show was billed as the greatest show on earth, one that would go down in history. Unfortunately, that night did go down in history but not for the reason expected. Rather than being remembered as a night of amazement and fun is now remembered as not only the most infamous circus disaster of all time but one of the worst disasters in the history of Connecticut. This is the story of the Hartford Circus Disaster.

On October the third of 1999, tourists flocked to the beautiful Maling River Canyon to marvel at the stunning scenery the area has to offer. Unfortunaelty the unsuspecting tourists had no idea of the horror they were about to endure. Whilest riding the cable car up the mountain, disaster struck which sent the car and passengers plummeting towards the ground at a rapid speed but how did the car fall? This is the horrific story of the Maling Gorge Cable car Disaster

The story of Deon Dreyer and Dave Shaw: In 1994 Boesmansgat, or ‘Bushman’s hole’ was considered a serene swimming spot, located on a private reserve in the stunning countryside of Northern Cape in South Africa. It had, until now, not really been the scene of much drama, but diving enthusiasts had discovered just how deep the water in the cave went, and set about trying to explore the murky depths beneath. This triggered a series of events that linked a group of divers in a tragic twist of fate that cost at least two of them their lives, and ruined the lives of many others. This is the story of how Dave Shaw, the dare devil pilot and diver that sought to ease a family’s pain, which ended in tragedy itself. This is the bushman hole cave diving disaster.

The 8th of July, 2011 saw thousands of people taking a day out to enjoy themselves at the Darien Lake Amusement Park Resort, about 30 miles east of Buffalo in New York state. The park was known to be busy in summer, and famous for rides such as the superman ride of steel. Tragically tafter that day, the park became infamous when the day ended in tragedy as a decorated war veteran was flung from the ride known as the ride of steel. So what happened to Sergeant James Hackemer that day? This is the horrific ride of steel roller coaster disaster.

Davi Lucas couldn’t contain his excitement after his dad finally agreed to take him to DiRoma Acqua Park after weeks of pestering him. He had been before, and couldn’t wait to get onto his favorites waterslide known as “the volcano”. Little did anyone know, their day would end in one of the most horrific and terrifying water park deaths I have ever come across. So what happened to Davi Lucas as he went down the slide? This is the horrific story of the Volcano Water slide disaster.

On the 3rd of June, 2011 a trip to award the pupils of Pleasant Tech Academy for finishing off the year ended in an unpredictable tragedy when Abiah Jones suddenly fell from The Giant Wheel at Morey's Pier. Although originally labeled as a freak accident, speculation ran rampant throughout Pleasentville and a few years after the incident, Abiah's parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Morey’s Pier claiming that the park showcased a multitude of failures that could have prevented the young girls tragic demise. This lead to a finger pointing battle which still has people split to this day. This is the Infamous story of the Giant Wheel Disaster.

On the 5th of September 2003, disaster struck at Disneyland on the Big Thunder Mountain Roller Coaster in a disaster which sadly resulted in the death of 22 year old Marcelo Torres in one of the Parks most infamous and shocking cases. Almost overnight, sadness turned into anger after investigators released shocking information proving the incident should not only have never happened but could have been prevented entirely. What happened that day would forever leave a stain on Disney lands reputation and change safety regulations entirely. This is Death at Disneyland, the Infamous death of Marcelo Torres.
