On the first episode of Car Trek Series 6, AutoTempest challenges the guys to buy three cars each, for less than $30,000, to make their ultimate dream $30k garage. It must have a sports car, a luxury sedan, and a capable off roader, and they should represent the guys' favorite country of manufacture. Tyler immediately went America all over everyone, with a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6, Ed bought a questionably maintained 1999 Porsche 911 from Germany, and Freddy's Japanese car roots led him to none other than a 1995 Toyota Supra. The guys were then given challenges to see how much power they actually made, and if that power could be put down to the ground. Hold on to your butts.

In the second episode of Car Trek series 6, AutoTempest challenges the guys to drive to Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, an extremely technical track in Oklahoma. The first challenge is to get the most lateral G-forces without spinning. Ed's Porsche 996 is in no shape for under or oversteer, but maybe his racing pedigree can save him. Freddy's Toyota Supra has the power it needs, but turbo lag makes it a bit hairy in the handling department. And Tyler's Pontiac Trans Am WS6 is all over the place, as usual. They are then challenged to race their old Car Trek cars, including the Maserati Coupe GT, Ferrari 456, Ferrari 360, and Nissan Maxima. Strap in. This is going to get bumpy.

In the third episode of Car Trek series 6, AutoTempest takes a backseat to a new sponsor, Ticket Clinic, who instructs the guys to buy three cheap luxury cars. Ed, unsurprisingly shows up in a clapped-out yet extremely clean Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG. Freddy brings his million-mile Lexus LS400 that he bought from The Smoking Tire's Matt Farah for one dollar, and Tyler brings down the house (and the budget) with a 2013 Tesla Model S P85. They then have to find out what's wrong with them by subjecting them to an inspection by the Car Wizard.

In the fourth episode of Car Trek series 6, the guys leave the cornfields of Kansas and head out to summit America's most famous mountain road, Pikes Peak. But along the way, a few things happen. Ed's Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG is just as broken as it started out, Freddy's Lexus LS400 develops a common yet annoying fault, but Tyler's Tesla Model S P85 completely gives up, despite having every indication of being charged. Elon Musk may want to skip this video.

In the fifth episode of Car Trek series 6, AutoTempest challenges the guys to buy off-road trucks as their last set of vehicles for their Ultimate $30,000 dream garage. And before someone asks, no - no one got a 2022 Ford Bronco. Tyler goes old school and brings a Jeep Wrangler with a weather Jurassic Park livery, Freddy brings a bone-stock Mitsubishi Montero Limited, complete with highway tires, and Ed's Porsche Cayenne has both the looks and mods to make it a serious off-roader. In theory.

In the sixth and final episode of Car Trek series 6, AutoTempest challenges the guys to get to a point on a map with no roads surrounding it. Simple, yet quite challenging for anything not made for off-roading. Tyler's Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler is like a billy goat that can go over anything, Ed's Porsche Cayenne was built for some serious terrain, but Freddy's Mitsubishi Montero, with its highway tires and spare isn't fit for...anything. Or is it?
