The music to this was actually recorded 2 years ago, but I originally tracked the bass part piecemeal. I decided to go back and relearn the music and do it in one take...and it was not easy. Like....I really had to shed the crap out of this. It's long, boring, jazz, and you'll probably get tired of how awesome it is by the 8th minute of it. A demo of sounds/effects I've been working with recently. From what I've seen "on the scene," electronic sounds are becoming more and more necessary for a bass player working in contemporary music, regardless of genre. I've used this board and all it's tricks for top 40 dance gigs, modern rock gigs, and my own electronic fusion stuff.
