Season start. Sweden's Master Chef celebrates 10 years and we celebrate with folk party when the audition rights are prepared for the audience. Two hopeful amateur chefs are the TV game tester Sofia and the taxi driver Murat, whose specialty is effective arrangements.

The folk party continues and the amateur chefs do their very best to impress. One of them is Christoffer who plays loudly when he invites the jury on lobster soup. Another is Lisa who grows her own vegetables and dreams of a career in cooking.

The jury's 40 favorites from the audition will now fight to pick one of the 12 places in the Master Kitchen. In two competitions, it is important to show creativity, speed and above all taste security when the amateur chefs are going to roll meatballs and cook soup.

With only one challenge left, the dream of a place in the Master Kitchen is close, but it is important to show the forefront in the stiff competition. In the last competition, it is important to pay attention when Leif shows how to fillet flatfish.

Finally, the amateur chefs get acquainted with the long-awaited Master Cooks kitchen and after a short tour the adventure really starts. The first challenge is a team competition where tacos are on the menu. But in the usual order there is a twist.

The theme of this week's competition is Swedish homemaker's classics and the amateur chefs are each correctly assigned in a lottery draw. A tough task as the jury expects perfect hot dishes where the smallest detail must sit. Those who do not keep the measure are forced to leave.

It's time for team competition and the task is to prepare a menu of oyster dishes that will be judged by the fish king Nisse Molinder. The losing team meets in the elimination where they will cook a fish gratin that matches a wine selected by Mischa.

In the evening's first competition, the pantry is filled to the brim with coffee. After Mischa has demonstrated the perfect brew, it's time for the task - to compose a dish with a clear taste of coffee.

Tonight we head to Gothenburg where the amateur chefs get to try calling home lobster at auction. Then it is time for team competition in the charming pub Sjömagasinet's premises, where the luxurious lobster will be cooked. In the elimination competition, squid is on the menu.

The amateur chefs are tasked with preparing a main course of exactly 10 ingredients. But there is as usual a hook, the jury has selected two ingredients for each kitchen that must be included in the court. In the elimination, the jury's favorite sauces will be recreated.

The jury has presented the amateur chefs' favorite raw material, but also their worst possible raw material. In the first competition they will choose one of the raw materials and prepare a dish that impresses greatly. Those who fail must use the other raw material in the knockout competition

Feelings swell when the amateur chefs receive a greeting from loved ones. The first task will be to prepare a favorite dish from home. Prior to the elimination, Markus shows how he fixes deer antlers and the amateur chefs should then offer their own deer rights.

Sweden's Master Chef heads to the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi where it is time for team competition where a main course and a dessert will be cooked. But the kitchen is outdoors and it soon becomes clear that cooking in minus degrees is not easy.

It is semi-final and in the usual order, the amateur chefs will present their cookbook idea with an associated recipe that the jury will then test. Whoever succeeds best goes straight to the final, and who gets the second final place is decided in a blind test.

It is finally final and the task is to create a luxurious three course menu where apple has a clear role in all dishes. Whoever succeeds in convincing the jury and creating the most thoughtful and personal menu takes home the title of Sweden's Master Chef 2020.
