In Denmark, there are people who eat garbage. Bubber thinks it's really gross and finds it hard to understand why some people choose to eat food that has been in a dumpster. Can he even eat it himself? To find out, together with Marlene and her three children, who have been living on garbage for the past six months, he goes out at night to go on a train in the supermarkets' waste containers. But why do you choose to feed your family with garbage? And why do the supermarkets throw out all the food that is obviously too good to eat?
