This a work day in Japan is from morning until the evening and we get to take a look at the work culture for growing and harvesting Japanese green tea. We follow Fuki who works at Yoshiizumien, a family owned 5th generation Japanese tea company, crafting the most luxurious tea in Japan, Yamecha, for over 130 years. While this remote area holds just a modest 3% share of the nation’s tea production, it produces the highest end tea in the country known for its unparalleled quality, strong sweetness and umami. Gyokuro is the most premium type of green tea produced, making up only 0.3% of the overall of tea production in Japan, and here, the artisans craft the highest-end Gyokuro green tea, the Yame Traditional Hon Gyokuro. A day in life of a Japanese Elementary School with only 8 students and 11 teachers. This is a typical day for a Japanese family with 3 kids all in Japanese grade school. We start from early in the morning when they wake up and follow them through their elementary school morning routine, their daily school studies, school lunch meal, after school activities and finally coming home and having dinner with their family. The kids attend Kojin Shogakko, a typical Japanese public school but the main difference is that there are only 8 students at the school between grades 1-6. There are many interesting facets about the Japanes students daily life at school including their Japanese school lunchtime “Kyushoku” which isn’t just a break to fill stomachs, but it’s considered a form of food education. A Day in the Life of a Japanese Construction Worker in Tokyo Japan. This is typical work day in Japan for construction work who operates an Excavator construction vehicle. This is her work hours in Japan as well as her morning routine and after work schedule. Kaori operates various construction vehicles such as bulldozers and backhoes, but her speciality are Yumbos, AKA excavators the Japanese name dating back to the 1960’s when they were first produced and named as such. Ever since then, the name Yumbo has become synonymous with all excavators in Japan. And to operate these construction vehicles specialized licenses in Japan are required in addition to a large-sized vehicle driver’s license if driven on roads, in total Kaori had to test for 4 different licenses in order to do her job. It was only until Kaori’s late 20’s did she find interest in her career, working as an office cleaner, she noticed excavators from her office window dreaming how fun it would be to operate.

A day in the life of Paolo fromTokyo. I wanted to capture this special day as I meet with many of my viewers for the first time as well as provide some insight on what my regular daily and filming schedule is like. So this is my regular morning routine, what I do during the day as well what I do in the evening. My morning routine though was a little bit later than usual due to jet lag but it's pretty much the same, first thing is always can coffee to get the day started. Thank you again to everyone who has supported the channel over the years, it's been a great experience sharing these moments with all of you.
