Cara went maximal with architect/accomplice Nicolò Bini of Line Architecture to curate a collection of vibes from room to room. “My work requires me to put on many different hats and costumes. I love slipping into these various characters, so I wanted my home to reflect lots of different themes and moods.”

Today AD is welcomed to Atlanta, Georgia by actor and musician Tyrese Gibson for a tour of his six-story dream mansion. Despite its grandeur, the 25,000 square foot French Chateau-style mansion radiates an inviting warmth - an effect Tyrese created with intention. “I wanted guests to feel the regal energy, the regal vibe,” says the man behind the character Roman Pearce from The Fast and the Furious. “But it’s very livable. No one comes into my house and, I’m like, I’m sorry, you can’t sit here.”

"You could tell that kids had lived here before."

A stunning cliffside mansion by architectural designer Wallace E. Cunningham, Kasseem had the multi-level "Razor House" as his phone’s screen saver for 8 years, waiting for a day when the stars would align. Once he and his Grammy-award winning wife were able to make it their own, they set out with AD100 designer Kelly Behun to craft a home they now call their literal “Dreamland.” As for the results? “When your screen saver comes to life, it’s unbelievably crazy” says Dean.

Today Architectural Digest brings you to Edmonton, Alberta in Canada to visit the welcoming, three-story home of NHL superstar Connor McDavid. Arguably the greatest current hockey player in the world, McDavid and his girlfriend Lauren Kyle partnered with Design Two Group to design and build their dream home after Connor secured a lucrative, long-term contract with the Edmonton Oilers. When it came time to review the finalized architectural plans, McDavid and Kyle decided to make one major addition: On the basement level, next to the plush lounge and bar area, they commissioned what they call “the sports court,” (a basketball half court where most afternoons you’ll find McDavid roller-blading and working on his hockey skills) as well as a home gym. “Connor being the captain [of the Oilers], we knew we were going to have to host a lot,” Kyle says. “This house feels like it’s definitely an entertainer’s home.”
