Lenny wants to prove himself to Elias Mozarella, the critic who will be visiting the hotel in a few days. He wants to deviate from his traditional dishes and cook "fusion". Richard hardly sees such culinary excesses as possible, but Lenny is convinced that this is the only way he can earn a star! When Lenny's glassy mushrooms are delivered, Anna intercepts them. This creates the perfect alibi to disappear from the hotel for a few hours. Richard pretends to believe Tom, Anna and Liv's excuses, but tells his son to follow the three of them and not to lose them under any circumstances!

Lenny decides to hand in his resignation as a chef. He doesn't feel able to convince the restaurant critic of his cooking skills.
