Once upon a time there was a woman who had three daughters: the eldest had three eyes, the middle one had one eye, and the youngest had two eyes. The woman first wanted to many off her two elder daughters, therefore, she rejected the suitor of the youngest one. Nevertheless, with the help of the magic goat, the youngest daughter marries the young man she loves.

Once upon a time there was a king who had a beautiful daughter. A sky high tree stood in the middle of their garden. One day the wind caught the princess and lifted her to the top of the tree, into the castle of the three headed dragon. A swineherd succeeds in climbing the tree, he tricks the dragon and robs it of its strength. He returns the princess to her father, who presents him with his kingdom and hand of his daughter.

The son of a poor man allows their three piglets to graze at the foot of the King's garden. The princess likes the piglets. The boy refuses to accept money for them, and asks the princess to pull up her dress, first to her knees and then to her waist and finally to her neck. One day the boy hears that the princess will many the suitor who can find out where she has distinguishing marks on her body. With many noblemen, the young boy starts out towards the court, he defeats the shrewd knights and wins the hand of the princess.

The only son of a poor man set out in search of his fortune. He reaches the town, ruled by the mighty king, who is feared by all his subjects, for he kills everybody who does not say "Bless you" the moment he sneezes. The shepherd is only willing to say "Bless you" if he can also marry the princess. Accompanied by the wonderful sound of his flute and using certain tricks he escapes death, and the king is compelled to allow him to marry his daughter.

The servant, John eavesdrops, kidnaps the child and through him gains a fine palace, where they live happily in riches. The child hears the story, when John recalls it to his wife; he turns John into a dog, returns with him to his village and resurrects his mother. The field guard of Rátot finds a pumpkin. He never saw anything like that, and neither had the members of the village council. The council decides that this is a horse egg and the members of the council take turns in hatching the egg. After a futile period, they become tired of it, and push the egg down the hill. It rolls under a bush, breaks into pieces and disturbs a hare. The man of Rátót happily observe: the little foal is running away...
