An intimate behind-the-scenes portrait of one of the world’s biggest selling bands who have achieved enormous success, Coldplay. This one-hour documentary accompanies vocalist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion for six months as they tour Japan. Witness their triumph as they win three awards at the 2009 Grammy’s, revisit the site of their first gig in Camden and begin working on their next album. Featuring live performances of Yellow and Viva La Vida, as well as contributions from BBC DJ Steve Lamacq, producer Brian Eno and Bono, Viva: Coldplay explores the band’s meteoric rise to stardom and reveals how some of their major hits were born.
