The Pets Factor

In the first episode of the series, Cat helps out Daisy the French bulldog, who has something unpleasant stuck inside her – it’s her tail! Meanwhile, James visits a wildlife rescue centre where he is called upon to perform surgery on a seal. And Rory plays teacher with Monty, the cute corgi who needs to learn some vital lessons at puppy school.

Rory is dealing with Princess, a Persian cat suffering with rotten teeth. Meanwhile, Cheryl has her hands full as she helps a lively dalmatian puppy with poorly eyes, and Cat performs a vital vasectomy on White Sox the ferret.

Cheryl operates on Ruby, a cocker spaniel suffering from an extremely sore mouth, while Cat tries to work out why adventurous kitten Hunter has a bloodshot eye. And James is smitten with Winnie, the cute bichon frise pup who has a heart problem.

James performs a caesarean section to deliver Suki the bulldog's six puppies, while Cheryl turns detective to try to solve why elderly cat Kenzo has been losing weight. And Cat operates on dwarf hamster Jerry to remove a nasty lump on his neck.

Rory is well and truly out of his comfort zone as he heads to a specialist horse hospital for some super-sized surgery on Paddy the lame horse. Meanwhile, James helps fix jack russell Pixie's hernia problem, and Cheryl is checking over tiny horsfield tortoise Luna to ensure this baby reptile is growing well.

In this episode, Cheryl must delve beyond Archie the Cavachon’s very curly coat in order to perform knee surgery and sort out this dog’s dodgy leg. Rory’s latest patient is less than straightforward though – can he get to the bottom of what’s causing Conky the cat’s nervous twitches? And James needs to tame the adolescent energy of Hugo the French bulldog by performing a castration

The claws (and teeth) are out for vet James today as he tries to treat Buster the chihuahua’s injured paw. Meanwhile, Cat deals with Alfie, the football-loving rabbit whose sore eye means he has lost his bounce, and Rory checks over rats Sam and Morty – one is suffering from the sniffles, while the other has a weight issue.

This episode sees Cat with a gunky job on her hands as she treats Benji, the water-loving labrador with a nasty ear infection. And Cheryl removes some lumps from regular patient Diesel the chihuahua.

Rory visits the man who inspired him to become a vet.

Cheryl is baffled by beagle puppy Paddy, who has a mysteriously sore throat.
