The Cruise Ship

In it's maiden season, and the Royal Princess has a lot to prove – tonight the crew cope with preparations for the ship's most stylish evening: Formal Night. General Manager Dirk battles an overflowing laundry problem, whilst new girl, spa worker Kelly, has to cope with leaving home for the first time and getting used to life on ship.

Cruise Director Sam has stiff competition from her power hungry Deputy, Dan. In a desperate attempt to become Cruise Director himself, he decides to create a Game Show to win the applause of his boss - but will his gamble pay off? New girl Kelly is still finding life at sea a struggle but finds comfort in the ship's mother hen Liz.

The crew members face a tough day ahead as they drop anchor and transfer the passengers onto an exclusive island resort. Chefs Brent and Tim find themselves lost on land - jeopardising the all-important barbecue, while general manager Dirk and his assistant Dennis go undercover to find out what their colleagues are up to.

It's time for the crew to say their goodbyes as the season comes to an end. For dancer Bev it could be a final farewell as she ponders whether to hang up her pumps. Luckily, her mum and stepdad are on hand to help her reach a decision. Deputy cruise director Dan finds out whether he has got the promotion he so desperately sought, and the staff members let their hair down at the karaoke contest. Narrated by John Thomson.
