While the number of female country artists has grown significantly over time, four truly stand out in the current music climate, Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini. While their names might not yet all be equally recognizable, their music is certainly easy to reckon.

While the country music genre is ripe with solo artists, many have also found fame in groups. Although it can be tough for some to share the spotlight, the artists in these four terrific bands have proved to be more like family than music partners, or in The Band Perry's case, are actually family.

The working class American male is the heart and soul of the origins of country music, and these four men couldn't be better examples. And even if they've taken different paths to reach the careers they have today, envisioning them anywhere else is near impossible to reckon.

In the country music world, men have proved to be a dominating force for quite some time. Whether growing up on back country roads or rising to fame through reality television, each superstar seems to have a unique story to tell through the music they choose to sing.

As country music continues to expand onto a global scale, the musicians at the forefront have increasingly been making their debuts as duos, trios and larger bands. Some of the most powerful in the industry today are groups composed of America's best and brightest, including Sugarland, LANCO, the Brothers Osborne and the Zac Brown Band.

It may be surprising to know that most of these four superstars have careers dating back no further than the start of the twenty first century, with Keith the only outlier, with a career spanning an extra decade. So while these artists have become global sensations, it may surprise you to discover what more there is to Reckon.
