Off She Goes

Early November 2021 I packed my motorcycle gear and traveled to Andalusia, the most southern region of Spain to escape the upcoming winter and motorcycle drought in Norway. It was my FIRST time riding in a new country, and FIRST time going offroad - on a borrowed BMW GS1250!

On this first day on my own, I ride the short stretch from Fuengirola, to a super cozy glamping spot named "Hidden Valey" located near the small village Álora. This day is all about taking it easy and getting comfortable on this new bike on my own.

In this episode I ride the short distance from the Hidden Valley in Álora, to the blue Smurfs village of Júzcar! The motorcycle ride offers a ride through a short mountain pass close to 1000 meter above sea level - unfortunately there is no spectacular view to enjoy, as the mountain tops and valleys are covered in thick fog and rain.

In this episode, I ride towards the coast chasing better weather! But.. not everything goes as planned. You know that one thing you don't want to do with a borrowed bike? It happened! Watch the episode to see how my day spun put, and to see some sweet drone footage!

On this sunny November day, I ride towards the coast of Andalucía and enjoy a couple hours in the fascinating Caves on Nerja on the way. This day is not ending completely how I wanted... Watch the video and you will know why :)

On day 6 of my short Spanish solo adventure on a borrowed BMW GS1250, I got lost trying to find my way to the beautiful mountain El Torcal de Antequera! Watch as two kind gentlemen try their best to help me out.

It is the last day in Spain! And what a day it was. I spent it with Alexander Perez from Perez MC Tours pushing my comfort zone big time as a gravel-rookie! We also visit Setenil de las Bodegas, a city built under big boulders and mountain overhangs. Thank you for following me on this adventure - looking forward to next time!
