After being bullied by Junior Miller for the last time, Jason Myers has had enough. But if he's going to stand up to the King he'll need to first step outside his brother's shadow. This week is a turning point for the drivers of Bowman Gray Stadium. It's mid-season, and Tim Brown has yahoo up a sizeable lead in the chase for the championship, while Burt Myers's frustration over his constant mechanical problems continues to grow. This week's double point race is an opportunity for Myers to take the lead from Brown, and Myers is determined do whatever it takes to do it.

Midway through the hot summer season and having to balance work, family and racing is almost too much to handle for the race teams. Rookie 16 year old Austin Pack debuts, Burt Myers outruns John boy who says he jumped the start. The veterans find themselves in turmoil while the rookie looks to kickoff a new era at Bowman Gray Stadium. With a 100 lap, Double Points race coming up, they're all worried that Tim Brown will kick the door closed and steal the season.

The burden of racing at Bowman Gray explodes when Tim Brown yells expletives to the crowd after a win. The entire community is on edge waiting to hear Gray Garrison's disciplinary action toward The Rocket. Chris Fleming is involved in a possible career ending accident.

Jonathon Brown is frustrated that his sponsor won't put his money where his mouth is when it comes to his 53 car. Puddin' bets him that he won't even qualify in the top six this week. Can Jon Boy find the resources to get his car where he wants it to be and does he have what it takes to compete on the same level as Burt Myers and Tim Brown?
