When Brian and Andrea (McWilliams) bought this partially renovated home 3 years ago, it was everything they wanted- or at least what he wanted. He loved the idea of making the home their own by renovating whenever he had time, but with one renovation after another, the end is nowhere in sight. Andrea is convinced that they have outgrown this house and doesn't want to put another penny into it, but Brian feels it holds promise and with help it will function for them again. Desperate to prove each half of this divided couple is right are competitors Hilary and David. Hilary and her team will renovate the home in order to make room for another baby, while David will show the family they can find more space in a new place. In the end, Brian and Andrea will have to decide... will they love their home again or will they list it?

After a year of looking and being outbid on eight different houses, Oliver and Melissa finally found a home. Although Melissa was out of town when Oliver decided to buy it, they moved in and thought it was the home for them. Little did they know they were very wrong. Melissa can't stand the problem after problem that this house presents, including a dangerous staircase, a smelly basement, and a tiny washroom. But what Melissa sees as problems with the house, Oliver sees as challenges yet to be solved. Enter competitors Hilary and David. Designer Hilary and her team will renovate the home in order to convince Melissa to stay, while realtor David will show Oliver they can find a better place to call home. Sixteen years ago, Scott purchased this house with intentions of renting it out and making some money. Little did he know, one of his tenants would be his future wife and they'd be the talk of the town. Now after eleven years of marriage and two kids, this century old home and the issues that come with it are consuming Scott's precious free time. But after Catherine's challenges with her health, Scott now wants to move on to a home that will give her a better quality of life.
