In this first episode we travel from Reykjavik to the main sites of the Golden Circle. We managed to see the Northern Lights on the first night of the trip!
At Jökulsárlón we cruised between icebergs on the glacier lagoon, before hiking into an ice cave.
We made our way to the beautiful town of Seydisfjordur in the East Fjords, before visiting Hengifoss, relaxing in the Vök Baths and then settling down at our farm stay in Möðrudalur.

In the second half of the trip we visit Dettifoss, featured in the film Prometheus. Then we travelled through the geyser strip near Lake Mývatn.

In the second half of the trip we visit Dettifoss, featured in the film Prometheus. Then we travelled through the geyser strip near Lake Mývatn.
At Akureyri we went on a whale watching boat tour.
Then we continued west to the Snaefellsness Peninsula, where we went horseriding and saw Iceland's most photographed mountain at Kirkjufellsfoss.
Returning to Reykjavik we completed our tour visiting the lava fields of the recently erupted Fagradalsfjall and then relaxing in the Blue Lagoon.
