.......she missed them. she missed them badly. it was as if this was nothing but a cruel parody of the person they once knew. and here she was, left stranded in the darkness all by herself, with nobody to come to her aid anymore. they both were gone in different ways. both cruel, cruel ways. and as kami's long, dark hair rode over the bitter, cold wind of the mountains surrounding the road, she thought over and over, in complete serioussness and obssession, about throwing herself in front of the next car that would pass by.

....................................concussed and lost, she wandered the unending tunnels like a white specter. someone who wasn't supposed to be alive - a dead girl walking. what seemed on the outside like childlike wonder was actually a mind working to analyse a world new to her; one she had never been part of. julie let herself be guided by the mysterious black cat as if it was the most natural thing to do in her situation. but she was not naive. she just saw the world in a different way.
