This was our first time traveling outside Mexican resorts, and the experience was WAY better than resorts! The electrical system though… we loved the cities!

We visited mosques, churches, castles, shops, alleys, ships, stuff in Istanbul, Turkey! And I barely saw anything out of order in their electrical system, other than usual… Should I have looked harder? Let me know in the comments!

Also Always test your GFCI or RCD devices to make sure they are not failing!

And also let’s hope here we learn how to use circuit breaker finders and AC detectors and such and understand how they work!

I hate wasting, throwing away broken anything that can be fixed easily. Not only repairing will reduce waste and saves perfectly good resources, it saves you a ton of money! That is if the cost of repairing is not more than buying a new one, or maybe even sometimes?! I mean think about a functioning motor in a drill, the magnets, the gears!!! So much good stuff!! I stop rambling now.

The travel to Switzerland was a quick visit to many places: Zurich, Baden, Lucerne, Bern, Grindelwald, Interlaken, Montreux, Lausanne, Gruyere, Vevey, Geneva, and then French cities Annecy and Lyon. Guess which country had sketchier electrics!

How does a sausage or pickle on a radio antenna tower starts to sing and act like a speaker? If you promise not to shock yourselves, it is so easy you can make it at home!!!

I hear people concerned by the amount of radiation they read by their EM meters, especially close to power lines and distribution centers. Should you be worried?
