As they await a visit from the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food, tensions are running high in Cardiff and the patronising tone of Welsh Secretary of State, Gaynor Samuel, does little to ease the situation between the two nations. Angharad is looking for a story and Rhiannon is determined that control of Agriculture remains in Wales following our departure from the European Union, no matter what the cost to her politically, or to the farmers, who await to hear their fate.

Nuclear UK's intention of burying radioactive waste in North Wales is a huge blow to Rhiannon Roberts' relationship with Welsh Secretary, Gaynor Samuel. Her rash decision to ignore Harri's advice and trust Angharad Wynne is hugely misplaced and could cost her politically and personally. Ed has some difficult news to share with Angharad and under the circumstances Owain has no choice but to admit that her suspicions regarding his relationship with the Prime Minister aren't entirely misplaced.

While uncertainty about the future of national water company, Dwr Cambria, proves a headache for Megan Ashford, Rhiannon sees the developing crisis as a step in the right direction for herself and the nation. Despite both Harri's protests and Catrin and Megan's concerns, she's set on fulfilling her political dream, whatever the price. Megan despairs, but Meirion sees a chance to revive his own political dream but where will Aled's loyalties lie?
