Paris 1907... A wave of crime swept through the country. The traditional police remains powerless. Inspector Valentin, following in the footsteps of the gang of "coalmen", saw them escape in their cars at the last minute, even though he had only a few mounted policemen at his disposal. But Valentin finally convinced the deputy Bonnerive to echo these difficulties to the government. And so Clémenceau decided to create a new police force: the mobile brigades.
