Beetle Crisis revs up for a brand new series on Discovery Real Time. This time cameras enter the world of 'Race Shack' and its owner Conor La Grue as he brings modern performance ideas to classic VW restoration. Conor and his team are specialists in their field and 'Race Shack' is the premier tuning facility in the UK, providing measured performance for street strip and track cars. Their reputation attracts car owners and race teams from all over Europe to visit their one-of-a-kind facility. When the team are not working on customers' vehicles, Conor and his crew spend time on their own projects, putting in hundreds of extra hours as they breathe new life into these VW air-cooled classics. The series also features Conor's wife, Nicola who, when she is not helping run the business and look after the children, spends her time speeding around the race track in the 'Legends Series'. Featuring restoration, racing and engine building, there's still time to squeeze in interviews with Doug and Dee Berg from the legendary Gene Berg Enterprises, Ron Fleming and Greg Aronson from FAT Performance and Lenny Copp from West Coast Classics amongst many others!
