The USA’s 400m Olympic champion Quincy Hall makes his Rome debut, and Paris gold medallist Beatrice Chebet of Kenya takes on home favourite and European champion Nadia Battocletti in the women’s 5000m.

A host of athletics stars, including Mondo Duplantis and Karsten Warholm, compete in Oslo in the sixth leg of the 2025 Diamond League. A sell-out crowd at the famous Bislett Stadium will be hoping Olympic pole vault champion Duplantis can once again set a new world record. Meanwhile, world champion and former Olympic 400m hurdles champion Warholm will have the home support as he takes on Rai Benjamin, the man who beat him to gold at last summer’s Paris Games, along with Alison dos Santos, the bronze medallist in the French capital. The trio will be taking part in the 300m hurdles, which was made an official event by the athletics world governing body earlier this year.

The Team GB poster girl has not raced since winning Olympic gold in Paris 2024, and she faces an elite field in the 800m, with the top eight ranked runners all due to take part in Stockholm. A blockbuster battle is also set for the women’s 100m, with Britain’s European champion Dina Asher-Smith and three-time Olympic relay medallist Daryll Neita facing off against reigning Olympic champion Julien Alfred and Swedish sprint sensation Julia Henriksson. World record holder Armand Duplantis will also continue his pole vault rivalry against Emmanouil Karalis.

After a month-long break, Diamond League athletics returns in Poland as a packed stadium is expected in Silesia. Faith Kipyegon is back on the track, fresh from her attempt to become the first woman in history to run a four-minute mile. At this meet in 2024, Mondo Duplantis and Jakob Ingebrigtsen both broke world records, and they return in the men’s pole vault and the men’s 1500m respectively, with Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred the best of the sprinters in action.

Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles headlines a stellar list of athletes seeking perfect Swiss timing as they build-up to next month’s season-ending World Championships. American Lyles goes head-to-head with Kishane Thompson, the Jamaican he beat by just five thousandths of a second to earn Olympic gold a year ago. Leading Brits in action include Olympic medallist Georgia Hunter Bell in the 800m and former world champion Dina Asher-Smith in the women’s 200m alongside Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson, the second-fastest woman in history.

The Diamond League moves to Brussels for the penultimate stop of the season, with Great Britain’s Molly Caudery the one to beat in the women’s pole vault. Elsewhere, Daryll Neita lines up amongst a crop of the best American sprinters, including the fastest woman in the world this year, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and defending world champion, Sha'Carri Richardson.

It’s the first night of competition from Zurich as the 2025 Diamond League season reaches its climax and the live athletics heads to the streets. The Sechseläutenplatz in the centre of the Swiss city turns into an athletics stadium for one night only, with the pole vault world record holder, Mondo Duplantis, topping the billing. The Olympic women’s high jump gold and silver medallists, Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Nicola Olyslagers, are also in action.

The 2025 Diamond League season concludes in Zurich with a packed night of track and field action at the Letzigrund stadium. Tickets for the final event of the season sold out within two hours as the sport’s biggest stars gather in Switzerland. Twenty-seven new Diamond League Champions will be crowned, with all eyes then turning to the forthcoming World Championships in Tokyo. Karsten Warholm, Femke Bol and British high jumper Morgan Lake are all in action.
