Anders Öfvergård meets Madeleine & Micke in Eskilstuna. Madde bought the house and when she met Micke, he bought himself into the house and Madde got pregnant, but Madde got tired of Micke. Heavily pregnant Madde now has an excavated basement and no laundry.

Anders meets Jarkko and Phatcharin in Almunge who married a year ago and wanting to have children. But the house has great need of renovation. Since Jarkko began a weekly commute to Norway, there has been slow. Jarrkofear that Phatcharin will tire of him.

Anders meets Robbin and Gabriella who live in terraced houses in Rönninge. The couple started the renovation to lift the roof. They had a water leak and the family is now on the concrete floor. They sleep in the living room because they do not have any stairs to the upper floor.

Anders meets Carina from Vallentuna who bought the house in 2009 after the separation from the father of her three children. The house is an old taxi rank and in 2010 became Carina sick. The house is not finished renovated. For showering must tex go to the boiler room.

Anders Öfvergård meet Helena who lives with her three children in a small house of 46 sqm. Helena has taken the help of her neighbor who is craftsman to build a framework and foundation for a garden shed. She knows, however, that the project has become her overbearing.

Anders meets Carola and Magnus, who live with their children in a house in Valbo. The couple bought the house in 2000 and were aware of the need for renovation. Then hit Carola of a stroke. Today they live crowded, all sleeping in the living room and the bathroom is in the basement.

Anders Öfvergård meets Tina and Robert who live together in a house on Gålö. The couple longs to have children but wants to wait a bit because their house is in such bad shape. Robert has built on it for eleven years and it is still far from finished.

Anders möter Jenny och Jörgen som bor med tre döttrar i Hallstavik. De köpte villan 2006 och har renoverat sedan dess. Jörgen tycker inte att hon bidrar och relationen blir sämre och sämre. Elen behöver dras om och i källaren läcker det in vatten.
