Since then, progress on the renovations has been slow, and as a result, Huub and Beate have been sleeping in the living room for years.

The upper floor is partly heated and finished, but the ground floor is uninhabitable. Irma, Remi’s twin sister, doesn’t believe this will change anytime soon and can no longer bear to watch.
