Yogscast: Civilization V

We kick off a brand new Civ game and this time we are split into teams. Let the action begin! Sjin starts an accidental early war and Lewis has brought a little companion along for extra luck.

Lewis is micromanaging two empires due to Toms catalogue of misplays. However, Tom is finding loads of Natural Wonders while Trott is overwhelmed with Barbarians. Sjin sticks to his classic strategy of harassing Lewis.

Pyrion messes up the rush for the Great Library and Tom keeps spending his money on silly purchases. Sum Ting Wong is under a very heavy Barbarian attack.

Sjin steams ahead with the Hanging Gardens and Persia has founded a new religion of Peegypt. Trott loses focus and Phil Mitchell lands the role as the new Harry Potter.

The guys are in for the long game. Pyrion wants Sjin to help out his finances, and Phil Mitchell doesn't know reality from fiction.

Tom nears to Trott's borders and unsettles Trott, while Sjin is doing the same to Duncan by building really close to Duncan's capital.

Trott is still having problems with barbarians but it's just the kind of relationship they have. Pyrion has a cake related quest and Tom is 'actually physically' hurting Lewis.

Trott discovers new land, Duncan has the right kind of gold issue, Pyrion has a question he refuses to ask and Lewis spreads his religion all over Trott's face.

Trott builds a rather weird road and Sjin's series of mistakes leads to Pizza Pocket going cold.

Pyrion is lacking in the science department and Sjin wants the leaning tower of pizza before Lewis storms it. Tom suddenly finds himself needing to defend while Duncan discovers a certain Sir Winston and he soon feels somewhat threatened.

Lewis has enjoyed his war with Sjin and Duncan is the hostess with the mostess. We hear about some very adventurous cuisine.

Sjin is working on some brand new tech. It's so new that he doesn't know what it is. Pyrion's secrets are given away and Lewis find new land, but there's a catch.

Trott regrets his mistaken misclicks and suffers for it. Pyrion is enjoying a childs birthday party while wars are breaking out all over the map. Pyrion's ally is proving to be a hindrance.

Sjin eats one pringle too many for Lewis and the war between Trott and Tom isn't pretty. We learn some history of Winston Churchill and the shape of Sjin's city is taking an interesting form.

Duncan wants to ban nukes while Trott and Tom reminisce about the good ol' Citrus Wars and decide to call peace to their battle. It seems Pyrion has been barking up the wrong tree and Lewis steps everything up a gear.

Duncan struggles for oil, Trott is worried about Tom's potential aircraft, and there seems no way to catch up with Lewis.

The great wars begin in an attempt to bring Lewis to his knees. Lewis is kindly offering seats on his space ship for anyone who wants to come.

As the game seems like it's all over, and civilizations are falling, there looks like there's a twist to this tale as someone has something up their sleeve for Lewis.
