Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson joins Richard Ayoade for a ridiculously overloaded 48 hours in Florence. In a Christmas special that makes only the most token nod to the festive season, Richard and Rebel blitz the Tuscan capital in a mini-break mixing art, action, food and fun. Richard and Rebel race past Botticelli's Venus and Michelangelo's David and squeeze in some street art. For an architectural hit, they climb to the top of the city's cathedral, the Duomo, then take a rafting trip down the river Arno. There's a traditional tripe sandwich before dinner in a former silver factory and, later on, a drive through the Tuscan hills in a classic Alfa Romeo.

The memories begin with breakfast in Zurich with Frank Skinner, then a perfect macaron in the company of Mel Giedroyc in Paris. In Barcelona, Richard and Kathy Burke took a masterclass in cava and he learned the secrets of chocolate-making in Brussels with Lee Mack. Richard sampled 14 courses of molecular gastronomy with Dawn French in Athens, and in Hong Kong he and Jon Hamm went in search of street food. Along with Paul Rudd, he sampled a local delicacy in Helsinki, and in Russia some space food with Greg Davies and a Soviet-era meal with Rob Beckett.

Jetting off on his first seasonal minibreak, Joe is joined by actor, comic and Strictly Come Dancing champion, Bill Bailey as the pair jet off to the country of glaciers, volcanoes, geysers, and black sand beaches. The pair will embark on their own unique whistle-stop tour of the Land of Fire and Ice, sampling the culinary delights and local tipples before relaxing with a plunge in the famous Blue Lagoon.
