When their school teacher is propelled around the school at high speed, it's up to Ricky to run to the rescue before any more damage is done. They both learn that it's better to admit their mistakes...

Sam Dacier uses Hank and Helene as models for his next film role, and Ricky works hard to convince him that he needs a young sidekick, Vroom Boy. When Steel goes to rehearse his action stunts at Fender Falls, the bridge collapses. Ricky as Vroom Boy rushes in to save him.

Toot wants responsibility in the Zoom family and Helene allows him to take charge of an emergency microphone for the day. It's up to Ricky to teach him how to take it to the emergency room, but Toot doesn't know how to give him instructions. With Ricky's help, Toot learns to give his own instructions in his own way and, working together, they manage to save Maxwell when he calls them in an emergency.

Maxwell takes Blip and Dasher on a camping trip but says Ricky and the buddies need to camp at home as they’re too young to camp in the woods. The buddies learn you don’t have to go very far to have a great adventure.
