The second go at a Mortal Kombat cartoon based mostly off MK3 but also follows the 1st film! The good characters form a “Kombat Team” to stop forces from Outworld from invading the Earth!

Scorpion is here and he’s SUPER EVIL for evilness sake! And don’t worry he’s brought both his skeleton Shao Kahn wannabes and mummies to fight the Kombat Krew!

Jax loses his metal arms and and cries about it forever. Meanwhile a Reptile knock off kidnaps Sonya and Sheeva shows up for reasons unknown.

It’s raining Rain and he’s ready to have a confused plot that involves pop rock demons, Motaro (with his people), and some weird multi-head creature.

Sub-Zero has to face his old buddy Smoke who has been turned into a cyborg. Also the Lin Kuei master wants to be Shang Tsung really bad.

Nightwolf has computer problems while Kano hangs out in a pyramid. He might be thinking of some kind of scheme in there.

Sonya supposedly needs to learn a lesson about teamwork yet Stryker is constantly antagonistic to her. Meanwhile, Sheeva really wants some rocks?

It’s the introduction of Quan Chi before the video games even and it’s quite silly. Also it’s all about a gem that makes you angry or something.

Shao Kahn brings Shang Tsung back to life so that he can play with an orb. This orb is part of a crossover which also ran through Street Fighter, Savage Dragon and Wing Commander Academy. Michael Dorn plays the Warrior King who is chasing this orb through all the shows.

Sonya and Kitana have to go get an easily found sword for some evil woman but they surprise her by not giving it to her.

The Phantom of Kabal shows up to sweep Sonya off her feet and help her stop Kano’s evil plot of… doing something with a portal. But nothing can prepare you for Hideyoshi!

Jax suddenly decides he’s tired of the endless fighting and quits. But his new girlfriend turns out to be an evil ninja working for Silly Kahn. Also Nightwolf is spying on everyone… and Ermac does nothing.

It’s the Defenders of the Realm finale and the animation style has been changed up and there’s more of a story going on than usual. I guess they thought maybe they’d try a little at the end to try and get a 2nd season. That worked out…
