Marek Gorsky, the son of Baltic-Jewish immigrants, is a police officer in Section 6 of the Berlin police force. When he and his friend and colleague Sven Lottner are called in by the LKA to investigate organized crime, the trauma of his childhood comes back to haunt him: Grischa, his older brother, was shot dead by a criminal rival. The perpetrator was never caught.
