It is all started in a theme park, a fireknife performance in Hong Kong. There, few years ago, a group of performers roamed the stage, dancing, breathing fire, and playing music. One of the performers is Margaret Ho, she is very enthusiastic in dancing since early teenager. While Margaret enjoys the spotlight, her husband Chris worked behind the stage as costume staff. Chris was intrigued by the fireknife performance in the theme park – who later became the founder of the Hong Kong Circus. Margaret enjoys dancing in the stage, albeit body pain and cultural restraint restricts her to excel further. She decided to leave the theme park and joined her husband in the circus.

Cantonese Opera singer Ms LEE-fung found her passion in Cantonese opera after she and her family went to Hong Kong during the 1950’s. She started learning Cantonese opera from a renowned Cantonese opera stars Mr. CHAN Fei-nung. At the age of 8, she began performing onstage. Though her performing journey was by no means all smooth sailing; she seized every performing opportunity to learn. When she was young, she aspired to be an “actress in a leading role”. But now she is upholding an open attitude, no matter it is an “actress in a leading role” or “supporting actress”, she is willing to perform. Koo Kwok Hung (Ball) loves to pursue excitement since young and is especially fond of his work as a motorcycle stuntman. Alan Luk has had a dream of becoming an actor and graduated from School of Drama of APA in 2001. Afterwards, he joined the talent training programme of TVB and became a supporting actor in TVB, then acting as anonymous roles in all his programmes. In 2012, Alan joined the HKTV in a hope of achieving his goal and dream. Unfortunately, HKTV halted all the production because of the license problem. Alan becomes a freelance in performing actor and continues his pursuit. The saga was just originated from an advice from his father.

Wong Hiu Ying Angel and Choi Lim Yan Sylvia are both senior gymnasts from the Women's Artistic Gymnastics of Hong Kong. Though they are close partners, they are very different in many senses: Angel is outgoing and passionate, while Sylvia is introverted but hard working. Nevertheless, as a close friends and teammates, they not only share the ups and downs, but also their dream to become a successful gymnasts with their dedication and hard work. Kevin Hui plays wholeheartedly with the piano keyboard every day, however, he is never a leading character on the performing stage. In fact, he is a piano tuner, who has more than 10 years of tuning experience. Kevin learned his tuning technique from his uncle–Master Hui Kwang-yin, the most top professional piano tuner within 30 years in Hong Kong. Standing beside Master Hui, Kevin was always a supporting character. It was when Master Hui passed away early last year that Kevin had to handle the tuning jobs left by his uncle all by himself. Following the footprint of his uncle after all these years, will Kevin become another Master Hui?

But definitely the definition of the term “marriage” is not that simple. No one can tell what marriage is, even for those who are already married. Sue Wan also don’t have the answer, although she was very experienced in wedding. She was the bridesmaid of 31 brides. At the age of 17, Sue went to a high school schoolmate’s wedding as the bridesmaid. And now Sue is 33. Bridesmaid should have the most intimate relationship with the bride. But after the wedding night, bride becomes wife and then mother. The change of a woman’s identity means the priority also changes in her life. Sadly, at last, friendship between the bride and the bridesmaids fade out. Some said, marriage is the important moment of a woman’s life. Sue doubts. Simone de Beauvoir said, “Marriage is traditionally the destiny offered to women by society.” Is it true? When more and more friends saying “I do”, Sue is still single. “I am the creator of my own destiny.” she said.

Lion dance is a kind of Chinese culture, expressing joy and happiness and is used to summon luck and good fortune. Lau joined the Keung’s Dragon and Lion Dance Team since 12, he works very hard to become the lion head and later become the tail. Keung Wai-chi, Jerry is the “sifu” of Lau and the co-owner of Lion Dance Team. Born into a family of lion dance performers, Keung is out to take the sport mainstream. In the 70s, people believed that triads were a big part of lion dancing and that they fought a lot, Keung and Lau face discrimination by their family and clients.
