Haven’t made a classic HiTop Films Batman video in a while… Batman: Arkham Origins is a highly underrated game. It’s considered the worst of the Arkham Series. I, HiTop Films, disagree. In fact I disagree so heavily that I figured I would make an entire HiTop Films Batman Arkham Video Series talking about some of the overlooked aspects of both Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight. II think the story of Arkham Origins is magnificent and is the perfect Origin for this Batman and this Joker. How good is Joker in this game? Seriously… perfection. Anyways this video is called Batman: Arkham - The Perfect Origin (Part 1), it is made by HiTop Films. I guess it’s an Arkham Video Essay or Batman Video Essay. In fact I disagree so heavily (so does Loverboy Media) that I figured I would make an entire HiTop Films Batman Arkham Video Series talking about some of the overlooked aspects of both Arkham Origins, watch Batman: Arkham - The Perfect Origin (Part 1), and Arkham Knight. In my mind Batman: Arkham Knight is the almost perfect finale to the Arkham Series, hence the title Batman: Arkham Knight - The Almost Perfect Finale. The story of Arkham Knight is mind-bending and shows us the core of both Batman and the Joker. It isn’t talked about nearly as much as it should be. This is an Arkham Video Essay or Batman Video Essay, or Arkham Retrospective. I’m honestly just trying to get the algorithm on my side (again). Much Much love to you guys and gals!

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is the newest (and probably HiTop Films favorite) DC movie. Is it still the DCEU? Who knows. All I know is this HiTop Films Video Essay is less of an essay, more of a Birds of Prey Review, more more of a rant about how much I Love Birds of Prey. Please see this movie. Support Margot Robbie, who is just off the wall good as Harley Quinn, support the Cathy Yan, support the filmmakers. Black Mask is just insanely great. Jeez, I love Birds of Prey. Birds of Prey is Fantabulous, dude.

Wow, a positive MCU Video Essay from your pal HiTop Films? What is this, an early April fools Iron Man video essay? Naw, I just love Jon Favreau’s Iron Man and want to talk about why it’s The Insane Origin, hence the title Jon Favreau’s Iron Man - The Insane Origin. This is probably my best video, video essay, passionate rant, since the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man videos. The title ain’t clickbait, Iron Man is insane, it’s insanely good, and the making of the film is insane. May be a hot take, but Robert Downey Jr. gives his best Tony Stark performance here. I may not love where the MCU is now, but I sure do love Iron Man. Remember without Jon Favreau and this film, there would be no MCU. Marvel Studios' Iron Man 2 - The Broken Sequel is the sequel to the first HiTop Films Iron Man video, Jon Favreau’s Iron Man - The Insane Origin. Another MCU Video Essay, and sadly, a negative MCU video essay. Has anyone done an Iron Man 2 video essay before? Because Iron Man 2 is fascinating, the behind the scenes is somewhat more interesting than what we got in the film and far more interesting than a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe films. This is probably my best video, video essay, passionate rant, since the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man videos, I said that last time, and I’ll say it again. Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau got screwed and it sucks. It’s what makes Iron Man 2 so very broken. There’s a great Iron Man 2 and I hope this video shows that. The sad truth is we will never get to see it. I hope everyone is doing O.K. and thank you to everyone who actually reads this nonsense.

Why does nobody talk about Blade? Why does nobody talk about how it was Marvel’s First Success, or rather Blade - Marvel's First Success. Luckily, Captain Midnight, HiTop Films and Godzilla Mendoza are covering The Blade Trilogy. I, Hacktop, Hitopfilms am covering Blade, or Blade 1. Captain Midnight is covering Blade 2 and Godzilla Mendoza is covering Blade Trinity. There are so many Marvel Video Essay or MCU Video Essay, do I even make HiTop Films Video Essays or just passionate tangents with some decent editing. The bigger question is why has nobody done a Blade Video Essay, it’s weird. Wesley Snipes is such a bad ass, he better have a cameo in the reboot. I, HiTop Films, said I was done making Spider-Man videos, video essays, Spider-Man Video Essays, whatever you want to call them. After my Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man series, I truly believed I was done. But then I realized... screw that! I’m HiTopFilms and HiTop loves talking about Spider-Man. I also realized that nobody has done a deep dive into The Amazing Spider-Man 1 or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Marc Webb’s (Kinda) Amazing Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield, Marc Webb, Emma Stone and the entire cast and crew put a lot of love into these movies, so maybe it’s time to dive deep into that love. This is sort of an extension of The (Almost) Amazing Spider-Man, that was a quick 10 minute video talking about one really great scene in this movie, this video, Marc Webb’s (Kinda) Amazing Spider-Man talks about everything. They good, the bad, the Sony. I hope you goons enjoy. I hope this lives us to the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man videos. Much love.
