This is something that has bothered HiTop Films for almost a week now. I love Batman Begins ((and all the films of Christopher Nolan)), but what I don't love is that punch sound. I can't handle it, I know one of the Foley artist had to realize that they needed a new Punch Sound Effect. Seriously though, check out Robin. It will mean a lot to everyone at HiTop Films.

Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is the Best Superhero Movie of 2018. It really is. We here at HiTop Films believe that Teen Titans Go! (or just Teen Titans Go) is a masterpiece. In this review, or video essay, or even short film, Teen Titans GO! Alex discusses the cinematic merits of the film and of the hit Cartoon Network show. That hit Cartoon Network show being Teen Titans Go! You know how HiTop Films feels about the DCEU movies, so this was a bit of a shocker. No, once again this is not a Spider-Man Video Essay, or really even any kind of Video Essay. This is more of a movie review, or a Teen Titans Go Review, or Teen Titans Go! Review, or Teen Titans GO! To the Movies review. Whatever you want to call it, the point is that you should watch this HiTop Films video, it’s a funny one.

In this video HiTop Films discusses Guardians of the Galaxy. People always shit on putting Video Essay in the title, but this is a video, based on an argumentative essay I wrote, solely for the purpose of making a video. Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn. This is not a video about James Gunn. This is a video about James Gunn’s masterpiece “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Batman 1989 is a Bad Batman Movie. Watch the Batman Video Essay before you dislike, hopefully it's at least entertaining and informative. I love Michael Keaton Batman, and Jack Nicholson Joker, but those are both not accurate representations of the Batman and Joker characters. This is a Batman Video Essay, but I did not put Video Essay in the title, are you proud of me Dad? This is the follow up video essay to Spider-Man: Homecoming is a Bad SPIDER-MAN movie. Tim Burton really did add a lot to the Batman mythos, but HiTop Films personally thinks that Tim Burton may not understand Batman.

Wow, another Spider-Man Video Essay. This one is a very special Video Essay from HiTop Films. Spider-Man PS4 is a Perfect SPIDER-MAN Movie, I mean it. This game is incredible, Insomniac should really be proud of themselves. Can I even make a video essay about a video game? Seriously, I have absolutely no clue. What matters here is that you understand that you need to play Spider-Man PS4 or Marvel's Spider-Man or just Spider-Man, I really have no clue. Batman Does Not Kill. I wanted to make this Batman Video Essay an important one. Consider this an actual short film by HiTop Films. Maybe I will start making one or two of these longer videos a month. Maybe I will do an entire video on Zack Snyder. This is kinda the sequel to Batman (1989) is a Bad Batman Movie, so if you haven't watched that video. Consider it.

Hot Dog! HiTop Films finally made a Video Essay that wasn't about Batman or Spider-Man. Are you proud of me? You should be because this Halloween Special, the HiTop Halloween Holiday Hootenanny, was a ton of fun to make. We start easy with A Nightmare on Elm Street (the reboot), then we move onto the masterpiece that is Halloween: Resurrection, and then we climax with the love fest that is Friday the 13th (the reboot). Are they the worst horror movies of all time?

In this HiTop Films Thanksgiving Special, we take a look at Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and why Spider-Man is a Perfect Thanksgiving Movie. Yes this is yet another Spider-Man video essay, but I felt it was an important one to make. Will HiTop Films ever stop talking about Spider-Man? The answer is no. Anyways Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, and I hope you watch Spider-Man and eat lots of turkey.

We Don't Deserve Daredevil, we never did. Daredevil is the best superhero adaptation ever, and one of the best television shows ever. Daredevil is surely the best thing to come out of the MCU. I will miss Matt Murdock, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson. I will miss Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, and all the other extraordinary cast members. This video is less of a HiTop Films Video Essay and more of a love letter to the show. Thank you to everyone who put their heart and soul into this masterpiece.

Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse is an Amazing Spider-Man movie. I know I promised I wouldn't do another Spider-Man Video Essay, but hey Into the Spider-Verse warranted doing a HiTop Films Video Essay. Will HiTop Films ever not make a Spider-Man Video? Hopefully. Miles Morales has had a great year and so has Peter Parker. Go see this movie. Go see Into The Spider-Verse, now!
