The whole gang has gone through a lot of changes this week. Everyone has leveled up, and has all sorts of new powers and abilities to show off. Aludra takes it one step further by shifting to the Warden class so that she can take over the defender duties for the group. The group flexes their new muscles by rolling on Shadowspar Keep and revisiting the trial of the zombie hulks. There are some new surprises as well. We are back from the holiday and here to bring you DnD! The gang finds themselves in a bit of a trap and death is only a hallway away. Will the hallway devour our heros like an angry squirrel? Having bested a legendary Kraken has earned the crew a break from the grind of “almost dying constantly.” Unfortunately, things start going to h-e-double dagger almost immediately. We may have gotten ourselves into a pickle after ransacking Zantac’s emporium. Our personal flavor of justice seems to have angered the elderly shop keeper. Someone had to put a stop to this horrible dog murderer and if that means acquiring some magical items in the process then that is just the universe rewarding our good deed. Hopefully we are not also rewarded with a free trip to jail. Well, we found Ros but we also found a group of fearsome thugs. One of which was wielding a giant Mordenkrad that really threatened Harper’s good looks. Who knows, maybe we can talk our way out of this battle? A hero can dream, right? A bruised and battered group of adventurers sheath their weapons. They know that they almost died and the only thing that saved them was the help of their friends. Unity is what keeps this group together. Once again the gang is back together and ready to face the great next step in their grand adventure! We aren’t saying that all backwoods settlements in our campaign world are filled with crazy people. We aren’t saying that. But, something about this particular backwoods village seems a little…off? I guess the gang has to deal out some old school justice if anything is fishy is going on. But what are the odds of that, right? The heroes know when they have to risk their lives for the common man. It is a basic part about being a hero. If a town is haunted by a sea witch, then you better prepare yourself for a salty battle. Just the same, if a town is harrased by a 100 foot tall forrest spirit, who is actually a normal sized forrest troll, then you know that you will have to have some words with this forrest spirit. Our dire battle against a savagely strong forrest troll continues as a young boy cowers roughly 88 feet away. We followed this boy as he was sent to be sacrificed to protect his small town against this “forrest spirit” but it looks like the forrest spirit will need the saving. I know you are brimming with anticipation after the ending to our last episode. That was our bad. Fortunately, this episode will give you the answers to you crave.
