ETT Season 4, episode 1: In the season premier of ETT, the Signal Snowboard crew attempts to use the naturally occurring deep ocean pressure to replace the role of a pneumatic press — the machinery currently used to bind the layers of a snowboard together — in production. On location in New Zealand's Milford Sound, ETT host Dave Lee and Signal Snowboard's co-founder Marc Wierenga hastily assemble the layers of the snowboard, then sink the final product 100 feet (30 meters) deep under the ocean with hopes that the pressure at these great depths will bind the layers. Natural production — is it possible? We find out in this episode of ETT!

ETT Season 4, episode 2: Signal Snowboard's Dave Lee and teamrider Jake Olson-Elm get serious about 'apres ski' in this episode of ETT, building a functioning snowboard beer bong — the snowboarder's version of the shotski — just in time for Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany! The build starts off at the Reichmann factory where hoses and nozzles are carefully built into the snowboard, then it's off to test it out at Oktoberfest — the home of serious beer drinking! Finally, lets find out if this party board can carve the slopes of Hintertux Glacier? Every hour is happy hour on this episode of ETT! Prost!

ETT Season 4, episode 3: Signal Snowboard's Dave Lee builds two experimental snowboards at the Signal Factory with the goal of riding epic sand dunes in a world without snow. One board features an ABS plastic base and the other a Formica base, both with the goal of overcoming the challenge of speed on sand. The setting for the test is California's Glamis Dunes, a motorsports recreational mecca with steep mountainous dunes. The test has a sticky outcome, which leads to a new world compromise — enter Professional off road racer Rob MacCachren and his off road trophy truck! Snowboarders Spencer Link and Nick Sibayan get the ride of their lives behind Rob's truck to see if, with a little help, they can get the same effect on sand as on snow. Looks like the driver might be getting more face shots than the riders in this episode of ETT. Back to the drawing board! What new base materials do you think would work to get this board sliding on sand? Leave your comments below!

ETT Season 4, episode 4: What would happen if, instead of having to buy a brand new snowboard every time you blew out an edge or gouged your base, you could just replace the broken piece? Dave Lee and the Signal factory crew explore the possibility of a modular snowboard in this month's episode of Every Third Thursday. Incorporating inserts onto each layer, the crew experiments with snapping together the various base, core, and topsheets into different board combinations throughout the day at Bear Mountain. Industry veteran Lance Hakker puts the board through the paces with promising results!

ETT Season 4, episode 5: In this month's ETT, it's time to "Spruce things up" with a snowboard made out of discarded Christmas trees. Dave Lee and the Signal snowboard factory crew take on this arboreal challenge utilizing tree trunks to create the snowboard's topsheet and core. The experimental board comes out of the presses looking rideable, so it's off to Southern California's Mountain High Resort to see if the wood is good! Who would have ever guessed that your snowboard gift wasn't under the tree, but was the tree itself? Merry riding!

ETT Season 4, episode 6: In this month's Every Third Thursday, Dave Lee and the Signal crew set out to make a snowboard out of a product that is basically built to fail — paper. Paper has very little structural integrity, which only worsens when it's damp. So it makes perfect sense to try to make this material into a weight bearing, torsion tortured, snow-sliding device with the help of the crew at Ernest Packaging. Dave meets up with Signal teamrider Melissa Riitano and Morrison Hsieh at Copper Mountain in Colorado to see if this board can take the punishment — how many runs do you think they'll get out it — one run, two? On the upside this "paper shredder" is totally recyclable!

ETT Season 4, episode 7: Get ready for some HOT snowboard action in this month's Every Third Thursday! Dave Lee and the Signal Snowboards crew get back to the base-ics, experimenting with new technology to actually heat up the base of a snowboard and test out their theory that a hot base will go faster. Dave explains that the snow sliding action actually works from friction heating up the snow and forming a thin layer of water that the board slides on, but what if we speed up that process by incorporating a heat film into the base? Watch as Dave dials the base all the way up to 128 degrees and snowboarder Alex Cato heats up the slopes of Park City Resort.

ETT Season 4, episode 8: Are you ready? I said, are you READY for this pioneering turntable snowboard?! In true hip hop fashion, Signal Snowboards put together the ultimate collaboration teaming up with one of the greatest DJs in history and contributing member of the Beastie Boys, Mix Master Mike, who not only provided direction on this build but also an original track for the episode. Custom board graphics come courtesy of artist MadSteez, and the clutch components including the turntable and mixer come courtesy of leading DJ equipment manufacturer Vestax. From the ultimate collab comes the ultimate DJ board complete with a functioning turntable and mixer. We tested it twice — the DJ capabilities were proven at the Vestax Store grand opening on Melrose street in downtown Los Angeles, and ride-ability was confirmed on the slopes of Bear Mountain, California jamming to Mix Master Mike's custom track. Aw yeah!

ETT Season 4, episode 9: It's lights out for Dave Lee and the Signal Snowboards crew! As the 2014 season winds down, the goal is to keep snowboarding past the daylight hours and Dave has just the solution — a snowboard with headlights. The crew fashion a custom board with dedicated mounts at the factory to accommodate a variety of LED Lenser flashlights and lamps. Then comes the fun part, the crew travel up North to Baldface Lodge and test out these night riding boards in epic deep powder conditions. This is what happened while you were sleeping!

ETT Season 4, episode 10: In this episode of Every Third Thursday, Signal Snowboards teams up with the Unknown Industries Harley stunt biking crew to collaborate on custom snowboard motorcycle racks and snowboards. The Unknown crew including Nick Leonetti, Buddy Suttle, and Kade Gates rally with ETT host Dave Lee to Bear Mountain to try out the new racks and the new boards. It's possible that they do more tricks on their bikes on the way up to Bear Mountain than on their boards coming down — it's all about wheelies, burnouts, and boardslides in this episode of ETT!
