Halfway through the training, some of the recruits' leadership skills are put to the test when they have to lead the effort to free an off-road vehicle and transport an injured comrade up a waterfall. The exercises take their toll and the group is further decimated.
The recruits are very tired and some are beginning to doubt their abilities. The first part of the day takes place in an old abandoned mine shaft where the recruits have to balance on two ropes to a flag, 20 meters in the air.

In the final 24 hours, the remaining recruits are subjected to a series of grueling nighttime fitness sessions before the most brutal part of the selection process - the final interview.
