Fun fact: The German verb “shoppen” refers to the English verb “to shop” and is used in colloquial German for pretty much anything except for grocery shopping (= einkaufen).

In this special episode of Easy German, recorded at Mauerpark in Berlin, Cari interviews EES about the video project "Never Over" that members of the Easy German crew and The Global Experience realized with Namibian artists EES and Ongoro Nomundu and learners from 5 different schools in Namibia in march 2015. In commemoration of the Herero and Namaqua Genocide that German colonizers committed in Namibia in 1904, the music video project "Never Over" stresses the unity and cohesion of todays interculturally mixed generation.
