Although he can’t tell whether it’s Eun-ho or Hye-ri, Hyun-oh takes her back home. He starts to take care of her and tries to talk to her, but she won’t say anything back to him. After learning that she’s now with Hyun-oh, Joo-yeon comes to meet Hye-ri. She’s deeply moved by what Joo-yeon says to her. Fear sets in after Hyun-oh escapes death, and the worry over Jae-yong's well-being renders him irremediable. Eun-ho stays by his side to console him but gives him the space he needs to recuperate. However, PPS is at its most vulnerable, unable to fill Jae-yong's spot for the 9 o'clock news. Meanwhile, Baek Hye-yeon jumps ship and joins PPS, leaving Media N Seoul out to dry, especially Joo-yeon, who begins to have a change of heart.
