Haitani Shunpei, a flight doctor at Shohoku Emergency Centre, has been greatly scarred by the crash of a Doctor Helicopter which provides helicopter emergency medical service. In order to overcome this post-traumatic stress disorder, Haitani begins counselling sessions with psychiatrist Ninomiya Shiori. However, emergencies cannot wait for his recovery and calls for Doctor Helicopter come one right after the other. Then there is a cave-in in the subway. Haitani can only do his utmost in the hospital since he cannot go to accident scene. Will he be able to get over his post-traumatic stress disorder and embark on a new chapter?
