This covers the January 1987 issue of Big Blue Disk, and at this point things were a little more exciting than issue one, but the publication is still having trouble finding their footing and finding quality software.
Please let me know what you think!

Sorry if this one's a little rough and has some, uh, "plot holes." I reshot it three times and finally put something together from the scraps and called it finished.
FOOTNOTE: I realize now that a lot of people aren't aware that by "throw away" I meant I dropped the cameras off at the local ewaste store, which almost certainly put them back out on the sales floor where they were snapped up the next day by someone else. That's where everything goes when I get rid of it, and I used to work at that place so I can assure you, they don't throw out *anything* unless it's literally total garbage.
This was a completely unexpected find, but it's why I trawl through old videogame and software collections looking for stuff I don't recognize.

This was a completely unexpected find, but it's why I trawl through old videogame and software collections looking for stuff I don't recognize.
Please note: The music is not quite "authentic" because I didn't run this on a real PC, soundblaster or adlib. The music you hear is actually the raw Adlib notes exported from DOSBox and then played back with Adplug in foobar2000, rendered to mp3. This is no less "authentic" than ripping it straight from DOSbox, since both are emulated. When I have a chance to run this on a real PC I will upload an actual rip from line out on a Soundblaster.
One hour of Dreamworld-Adventure music: https://youtu.be/BIVVmcjUEjY
You can find the MP3, raw Adlib rip and game here: https://archive.org/details/dwa_002

This is a neat find from a pretty sad thrift store trip. A little bit of raw footage from it at the end but keep an eye out for another video with more extensive tests and commentary.

A selection of fine home design software from around the turn of the century. Best of luck.
I kept the review to the most interesting parts and didn't do in-depth demos of most of the features in these apps because of how unpleasant they are to both use and watch. They're all intensely fiddly when you get down to the minutiae, and the video would have been two hours of me fighting to get appliances rotated correctly.

The title doesn't lie, and the answer is mildly cursed but par for the course. Something I didn't mention is that this applies to almost all consoles released in the entire decade, and in fact a significant number (like the Colecovision) ONLY had RF out; the NES was one of the first consoles to have composite at all. If I could do it all again I'd mention that. I'd also keep my Casio CZ-1000 instead of throwing it away when I was 25.
I can't say it enough times: Don't try this at home! Because it's illegal but also because it's mean to your neighbors! DTV is unreliable enough without the hobbyist next door making things worse. Be kind, share the spectrum, move over for bicycles.
The clip of Bonanza was not meant to be in the video but it was very funny sped up so I forgot to delete it. It was the episode where a mine collapses under the courthouse.
