Everybody’s told them it can’t be done but Jase and Simon are determined to tackle one of the steepest and toughest tracks in Far North Queensland. They’re trying to find a wrecked World War Two American fighter plane but getting there is going to test them and their gear to the limit. As soon as they set off they find themselves in trouble. Will their very own ‘Big Bang Theory’ get them back on the track or will they be forced to call it quits? This could be their most challenging trip yet and when both trucks break it will take knowledge, experience and a fair dose of luck to keep going. It’s a DIFF-icult start to a trip that already promised to be one of their toughest.

After a DIFF-icult start to their expedition, Jase and Simon have made camp on a million acre ranch. From there, they’ll head out to the coast and try to reach the remote wreck of a World War Two US plane wreck that has laid untouched for 70 years. First though, with the help of their mates Simmo and Justin, they have to lock-and-load and take care of a feral pig problem that has been plaguing the ranch. But that’s not the only excitement that awaits them. There’s an epic battle against quicksand in the barren salt flats of Cape York… and a zippy solution to a problem that you have to see to believe. And there’s more creative engineering when Jase unveils his home-made transforming tinny raft for the final leg of this incredible journey. Will they find the plane? There’s a hidden lagoon in a remote swamp somewhere in the thick mangrove jungles of North Queensland, far from any roads or tracks. But it’s a honey-hole full of Barramundi, so Jase and Simon are determined to get there, braving shifting tides and mud flats full of deadly saltwater crocodiles. Joined by Simmo in the chopper and Justin with his rifle, the adventurers put their lives on the line as they venture into croc country, hoping to be the first people to fish the virgin waters of this pristine paradise.

Jase and Simon have been asked to find a disused outstation ravaged by fire years before, but will they be able to find it as no one has seen it for so long?

Feral pigs are the most destructive pests in northern Australia, and Jase and Simon have had enough. After exploring the coast and seeing first hand the destruction that pigs have brought to the local turtle population, they strap their quad bikes onto their boats and travel upstream to team up with local hunting group “Hogs Dogs and Quads.” Using trained dogs to seek out and round up the pests, the posse soon find themselves face-to-snout with the tusked menace that has been threatening the land we all know and love.

Jase and Simon are joined by the traditional owner of the land where they are trying to cut a track out to the beach. The track is full of hazards: from severe ruts, to harsh grades, to fallen trees, forcing them to winch, snatch, and chainsaw their way through the bush. They finally reach the open salt flats, but the soft mud is deceiving and they soon find themselves bogged without any recovery gear.

Jase and Simon are continuing their mission to be the first 4-wheel drivers to reach a remote beach. But first they have to escape from a muddy swamp, and then make their way through a thick forest where the fallen logs threaten to destroy their vehicle.

Jase and Simon are on their way to take a depth reading on a remote lake that may be the result of an ancient meteorite impact in a thick jungle. But on the way they have to overcome numerous obstacles: from loss of water supply, to rutted tracks, to mechanical failures. This will be a test of ingenuity and determination.
