They have crafted unique ways of navigating their machines through difficult terrain, using zip lines, tying tinnies together, floating vehicles with inflatables and even putting quad bikes in boats. This time however, the boys have built something bigger and better. Something that will get them into river systems and special places that are hard to reach. During the off-season at All 4 Adventure HQ, Jase bravely pulled the trigger on a secret plan that was years in the making. It was finally time to convert his partner Chrystal’s y62 Nissan Patrol into the Ultimate Daily Driver!! Kent from Hi-Torque Performance on the Gold Coast was the first to get his hands on the rig, fitting it out with a Manta exhaust system and a HTV 2300 Harrop supercharger, boosting the performance by 100HP whilst still driving like a stock Y62. The Patrol then headed off to McCormacks 4WD to fit it with ‘all the berries’, including an XTM winch, XTM lights, a Rhino Rack roof-rack, a Fatz snorkel, an OffRoad Animal Toro Bull-bar, a Uniden UHF and Black Bear low profile all-terrain tyres running on 20” ROH rims! After a custom wrap and a very specific dual coated Black & White paint job from Bodie and the team, it’s hard to deny that this Nissan Patrol Y62 is indeed the Ultimate Daily Driver!
